Found this interview in Hyphen, a magazine focusing on Asian American's and their experiences, with Trail Blazers General Manger Rich Cho. Most of it is probably stuff you already know, but there are a few fun tidbits, such as...

Are there any stereotypes that you think you defy, or any that you think you conform to?

Oh man! Um. Well, I’m pretty tall, I guess, I’m about 5’11”, almost 6 feet. And I’m a pretty good driver. Uh, what are some other stereotypes? Sorry, I can’t think of any! One of my brothers is a Ph.D. in sociology, so he’d know all that stuff.

Speaking of shaving, why is it that you shave your head?

[laughs] I started shaving it about six years ago, and I just like it a lot better. I used to wear it pretty long, then had a flat top for a really long time. I shave about once every two days, and it just feels cleaner that way. My wife wants me to grow it out, but I think it makes me look younger, which is always good.

Okay, one last question. Finish this sentence: My favorite thing about being Asian American is ________.

My favorite thing about being Asian American is…that Asian people tend to age well and people think I’m a lot younger than I am. But I think the shaved head helps, too.

Maybe I should start shaving my head. Not sure it'll have the same impact though.

I don't think tilting my head in any direction is going to help my ultra receding hairline. Might be worth a shot nonetheless.

Maybe if you look up so you cant see where the hairline is supposed to start in the first place... or just get a Rick James wig or maybe one of the Rasta hats with fake dreads sewn on down at the Saturday market both of those would be epic.

Though I would love to check out the Cho-meister with a Tom Peterson...I think I am more interested in seeing a pic of him with his hair long.  LOL!  As far as the more youthful appearance with the dome shaved?  It's true, and the reason I have been doing it since BEFORE I began falling victim to male pattern baldness :)

I may have to try this shaving of the head craze going around... But i might have to rock a ZZ Top beard since its going to get cold soon and i can wrap it around my head like a scarf.

My Dad held on for as long as he could. First his forehead turned into a five and then sixhead. Then he started getting that infamous ragtop. Thats where the front starts trying to connect to the rear balding area. My Mom finally said, H, go ahead and shave it all off. He then says, when you're bald in the front, you're a thinker. When you're bald in the back, you're sexy. When you're bald in the front and back, you think... that you're sexy. He did however get the Jordan eventually.
