    The Blazers should make a last offseason move by signing this guy...

    I can't find any contract info on him. ESPN doesn't list him on the Suns roster like NBA.com does. (ESPN puts up salaries.) This would lead me to assume he is not under contract. If he is a free agent, I 'm surprised no one's picked him up. Ever since I saw him on the court, I wanted him here. Assuming he's out there, I agree. Go after Amundson. Just deal Rudy for a pick, then sign Amundson.
    This is all barring the possibility that I just couldn't find contract info on Louis.

    We already used our full MLE on Matthews and have 16 players...not only is there just not enough room but I doubt he wants to play for the minimum.

    I can't for the life of me figure out what is going on with Lou. He's got the kind of game that fits on just about any team, so why is he unemployed? Mark Bartelstein, Amundon's agent, is one of the best and a standup guy to boot. If Lou was asking for too much, I'm sure Bartelstein would tell him. It's a strange year when Amundson is still looking for a contract 2 weeks away from training camp, yet guys of far less talent signed nice contracts months ago.

    Hey C.  I couldn't agree more.  I would have liked Portland to make a run at this guy, feeling like he would be the perfect back-up behind LA.  He would bring this team elements that it currently lacks and fits the culture almost too well.  Should come at a reasonable price, especially now that the FA sweepstakes has come and gone.  I would also echo Hawes, in that he IS that type of player that could put a contender (like Portland) over the top.  If it were a choice between Matthews and Amundson however, my vote would have to go to WM

    I am glad we have Wesley Matthews. Amundson should be employed though. Especially by now.

    Someone remind me what happens financially if we waived Rudy.

    As long as somebody reminds Amundson not to get in ZeBo's face and talk smack, he's a scrappy player that can get some boards. As a Blazer? I think Pendergraph and DC would smash Amundson. And he'd have to cut that rat off the back of his head, Coach Nate enforces a clean cut rule.

    I agree with DHawes; Amundson's a Blazer pest.  Same with Scola.  Thank God he's only on the Rockets.

    Damn. I'm not happy with him going to GS. That team already gives us fits, but now we have to deal with Lee AND Lou? Uh oh. Those guys just never stop playing and hustle continuously.  We better be ready to bring it against that team because they play loose, with nothing to lose.

    Sigh...

    It will be interesting to see how Lee and Lou fit in with the playground style that IS Golden State basketball.  They both are coming from teams that run...however, GS is it's own animal.  We'll have to wait and see.
