All right then, go for 2. But why not put the ball in Jaquizz's hands? They couldn't stop him, even if you want to line him up in the backfield and use him as a decoy, he is your best player and some form of play should have been strategized around him.

Cam Newton just named Heisman Trophy Winner.
Who woulda called that at the start of the seas?

And him winning this tittle, after being omitted from 105 ballots due to his investigations that turned up no actual proof, he still won, had his name been on those ballots, he would have made ranked 2nd for Most votes of ALL time!!!
GREAT JOB. the american people believe the news more than the actual truth, thats why i am soo happy because they were wrong, and it got shoved in their FACE.!!!
    Doubters look out.

Newton may have been named the best PLAYER, but we have yet to see if he plays for the best TEAM :)

Cam Newton is hands down the best, most impactful player in college football.  The only issue I will continue to have, is...would he have been what he was this year on another team, specifically...maybe a team not offering the same pocket protection or balanced offensive attack?  His playing for Auburn and what led him there are still in question IMO.  My son is athletically gifted.  Maybe when he is of college age, I can "earn" a new house? :)  Big time precedence here, make no mistake.  That said, I do believe Cam is a generational football player.

Newton may have won the heisman, but if both he and Andrew Luck enter the nfl draft, mark my words, Andrew will be selected higher.

i dont think cam newton should have been allowed to be considered for the heisman not because of his father but because of what he has done in college on and off the field.  when does integrity character not matter?  at least the sports writers got this right in not voting for him on the all american team.  i think the guy who got number two should have won.  anyhow go ducks  i want the national title not an individual accolade and lmj got on the all american team congrats to the two ducks who made it. wtg guys"!  i say if oregon plays their game and settles down they have a chance. both teams are equally matched in they both play octane offense and both are great defensive teams. im proud to be a duck fan!  i was born a duck and will be one ti i die! yey team!

can you elaborate on your reasonings? The whole nation cant get their minds off of this scandal and thats the only things that bugs...
I know he has been going form college to college, and thats not really the traditional thing to do, but tell me what about Newton is traditional, he adds his own flavor to anything.
He just loves to play football, like some other athletes i know......... He deserves it, whether his team wins it all or not, the fact that he was fighting two battles, one was agaisnt the different opponent every week, the other was the Wicked Cruel Media War. The Media loves to tear down athletes and rip all their credibility from them, all they need is a crack in your exterior, and boom, downhill from there on out. Whether his father was foolish enough to proceed with the "allegations" or not, it shouldnt have ANYTHING TO DO WITH CAM. Judge him as a football player, judge him for what he is there to be judged by, dont look for excuses to take the glory outta this kids career. i think that is just so wrong and the sad thing is people cant get enough of doing it.......

Kassandra, you are dead right though, Luck is projected number 1 overall, and i wouldnt doubt it if your James goes before Cam, this media #@$@storm is gonna stay with him forever....

Luck is a LOCK to go #1..hands down.

Newton will be tough to stop, but I do feel like Oregon has the better TEAM. We shall see how it plays out.

Nice link B....also of news.Luck staying at Stanford,Ryan Mallet, Blaine Gabbert, DeQuan Bowers,Marcel Darius, and Mark Ingram are going pro.Luck doesn't seem like he needs to money so it doesn't shock me that he's passing up on playing for the Panthers. The only question is, where does Harbaugh go? Niners, Stanford, or Broncos?

    My question is answered:
    Harbaugh to the Niners!
    Read HERE

Stanford will still be tough with Luck, but this definitely hurts the Cardinal long term.

as a student attending stanford, i'll say that i'm disappointed that coach Harbaugh won'e be returning. i do, however, understand that coaching in the nfl -- especially locally to he and his family -- is a tremendous opportunity. i had initially thought that when Andrew Luck announced he'd return, that coach would have returned as well. regardless, i have confidence the athletic department will bring in a top-notch college coach who can keep our football momentum going (yeah Chris Peterson, i'm talking to you!).

    This just in...

Cam Newton to take a pay cut at the next level.  :)

    AND THIS...

Nick Fairley reportedly being courted by the WWF as well as the NFL.  Rumors stating the WWF was especially impressed with Fairley's abilities to execute a technically perfect knee lift to an opponents head during dead ball situations while officials heads are turned.  :D

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
