one of the things i was told my freshmen year in highschool by an asst coach was to always run in practice.
run to drills. run onto the court for stretching. be the first one there. shows you want to be there.
also when someone is explaining something even if its to you or not. if you're in that part of the area. listen to what is being said and dont make whomever was talking repeat themself.

hustle.. if you get beat on something. stay with the play. too many times do people drop their heads or when they're beat and stop to watch. stay with the play... puts you in board posistion should they miss.

but above all else. run everywhere. hustle. and listen to the coaches. soak in the information they're giving you.
because most of them have lifes and familys that they're choosing to take time away from. to teach the game they love.

I am a fan of defence.

Don't let anyone out work you on the court or in the weight room. And do pretty much everything else Brandon said in the above post!

Ask a coach to help you work on your shot and use some spare time to just shoot just keep shooting on your own.  Some pros have said they used to shoot a couple hundred times a day to work on their jumpers.

Repetition builds consistency. If you're right handed, what ever you do with it, double it with your left. Work on your endurance also.Afterall, if you cant last, you wont get any run. APut up a thousand shots a day. If you have any energy left, 250 freethrows. And whatever you do, never neglect your abdominal work. Get that core right. Obliques help with those hard cuts. Also, it's really an eight pack, not six like most lazy people rave about. Yoga helps tremendously also because of the meditation and flexibility that it teaches. Stretch everday whether you're ballin or not. Muscle memory is crucial. Now get to work. Chance favors the prepared mind.Good luck. Remember , if it was easy,

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Howard would be fine if he was the same player he was in Orlando, but his back has really slowed him down and he is no longer the most dominant center in the league. His offense was always trying to dunk on people and getting fouled he has not imp...

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
