Portland already has one of the most numbers retired by any franchise and its kind of laughable considering we have only won 1 title. I thank all of the players for being Blazers, but having a number retired should only be offered to the creme of the crop, and in Portland's case should have only been Drexler and Walton, but I wouldn't argue with Porter or Lucas either.

So, while Buck and Pip helped get us close to the 'Ship, it never came to fruition. Pip had his best years in Chicago and if you retire Buck's number then you have to do the same for Duck and Kersey. Now, I could understand if those early 90's teams won 1 or 2 titles to retire those numbers, but without the merit of winning a title here, I just couldn't justify it.

I second the notion that they franchise has retired too many numbers, and with one title. We'll be out of usable numbers within ten years if it keeps up. Besides, Greg's using 52, Dante's using 33. Buck just doesn't come that close anyway to needing his jersey retired. As far as I'm concerned, the only Blazers that truly deserved a number retirement are Walton, Drexler, and probably Porter. (Then again, I wasn't alive in the 70s and 80s, I'm probly missing a couple other really deserving players.)
Plus, if you couldn't tell, Pippen is an ICON for Chicago. They deserve to have him. Should Pippen be retired by the Rockets just cuz he played there too? Nope. That jersey stays in Chi-town.

Bosh in Toronto was better than Lamarcus

I would take Lamarcus over Bosh right now

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.

Charlotte is the team that would take the 13 and 10 for their 4th.

Not sure Oladipo or Mclemore is worth two late lottery picks, even in a weak draft.   I would LOVE to grab one of them but there is plenty of talent left. 2> 1 I would...

Ahead of Carmelo are you shitting me? Melo ped 28.7 and 6.9 Reb his PER was almost 25. He shot better from the field and from beyond the arc than Batum.

Batum at his best cannot hold Melo''s jock and that is a fact.&nb...
