    Along side from this whole Rudy predicament, think we are going to make any more trades in acquiring anyone this off-season?  
    I am a fan of making Kobe cry in the Western Conference Finals.

    I'm not sure, but both Billups and Crawford could be on the trading block. Lets see if Rich Cho is really about the business! Personally, I'd like to see them find a way to keep Miller, (he's reliable and never gets injured) and find a way to get the 6th man of the year Jamal Crawford as a second string behind Miller. Billups would be a nice asset, but I have a feeling we would have to give up alot to acquire him.

    acuiring billups or crawford would be pointless being all the guards we have. andre miller,jerryd bayless,elliot williams patty mills are four point gaurds that fit with portland's rotation and brandon roy,wesley mattews,and rudy fernandez are three shooters who can also drive the lane well. with nic batum and luke babbit at small forward we have great shooting and aldridge,oden,camby, jeff pendergraph,dante cunningham and pryzbilla down low we have a strong front court. so tradeing away any of these players could possible hurt the team. we had the second most missed games do to injury and still made the playoffs. the chemistry is just right in portland and the could be holding up a championship soon they just need to stay healthy!

    I believe if we went after Billups two if not three of our guards would probably be sent out in a trade. If Billups is on the market, then Portland should at least inquire as to what the acquisition cost would be. I've felt for a while now that he is the Terry Porter of this decade and would be more than phenomenal alongside Brandon. I'd really pass on Crawford. He's going to want Aldridge money and he's a one dimensional player. I'd take the cheaper, younger Bayless and hope he can develop into that scoring 6th man that Crawford is.

    bayless will never be of crawfords cloth.... rudy is gone so u cannot include him in the future lineups. billups would be the missing piece if you ask me he is a great fit in this offense and has championship experience.(lets hope they ask about him) even though i doubt denver wants to trade him to us unless we blow  them away with a offer...

    IMO the roster as it stands at time of this post, could use some balancing, and Cho, from the day he was hired has said this Blazer team is "one or two" pieces away from being championship ready.  Really, the only question is...timeline?  I have been outspoken in pushing for a roster that will only need "fine tuning" over the next several seasons to allow multiple shots at a title(s) while BRoy is physically able.  To accomplish this, a deal will have to be made for a starting PG, preferably one young enough to grow with the rest of our nucleus and talented enough to make everyone around him better.  Cho has two expiring contracts to utilize, and I believe VERY strongly that he will.  Those who do not LEARN from the past (Raef), are destined to repeat it.  I will be a Dre and Thrilla fan always, no matter where they land, just as I am a Martell fan.  The three of them have EARNED that from me.

    And while I'm on here, I just want to bring up an off-topic question.
    Do we expect Babbitt as an instant contributor? Or are we going to have to wait a while for him to get into groove and be the person we want him to be?  I kinda had that question in my head for a while.

    Being an AJ fan, I couldn't forget about him.  However, I am realistic about the possibility of Armon being a starter on a championship team anytime in the foreseeable future.  His defense earned him the roster spot.

    Your question about Babbitt is a valid one.

    That they have. I would love to see the vanilla gorilla retire in portland. But I'm bracing myself for when he gets traded. Losing a great player.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
