Patty leads Australia with win over Brasil

    Australia defeated 14th ranked Brasil in a World Championship warm up game 72-69.  Patty Mills top scored for Australia with 15 points in 26 minutes and added 3 rebounds and 3 assists.  Brasil featured 3 of there NBA listed players.  Patty's next game will be against the French on Tuesday....fyi.

    I think people forget that Patty Mills is a very talented point guard. During the last Olympics he took on the likes of Chris Paul, Deron Williams and post match they couldnt speak more positively about him. This was also while he was still playing at Saint Mary's and might i add that he was the only collegiate player in the Olympics... Maybe im being a tiny bit biased because i am aussie, but i would love to see him given another shot in a blazers uniform

    No your not being biased .. Patty was never given a real legit shot at the position by Nate .. which is a very shameful thing I might add ..

    I too would absolutly love to see Patty given another shot a honest legit shot at out PG spot .. I've stated it before I think he could be like many of the more talented PG's in the league .. if given the real legit shot at development ..

    I think Patty should be on the team, he could be a solid back up until he earns starting role by beating out Andre or taking his spot after Andre's contract expires.
