This is a farewell to Rudy post.  Keep it clean.  Keep it positive.  Rudy Fernandez has made the determination that he will NOT return to this Blazer team.

There are TWO sides to every story, and as we have all learned in the very recent past with the KP situation, the information we as the public receive is often times filtered through a number of sources with varying agendas.  The TRUTH may be awhile in coming, so we should all try to keep an open mind.  Please try to refrain from assessing blame or "finger pointing".

I'm posting a link that reflects the way I personally choose to remember Rudy...

Good luck Rudy, in all of your future endeavors!  Wish your first season here wasn't your last.

(first off, this wasn't his first season.)
Rudy, we know you can be a huge talent when you want to. You can light it up passing and shooting like a magician. I hope your future is as bright as it can be. Wherever your future is, I hope you always believe you made the right choice, helping the right team. I'm sorry you didn't feel the love from certain areas, but we really do appreciate all you did on the court. We fell in love in your NBA rookie season, and even earlier in the olympics where you were really a gem. There is a reason we made the "I <3 Rudy" shirts.
And keep the style you got. You're a good look, man!

    Much luck and support,
    RipCityVice

I honestly don't know what to say and how to keep it happy-sounding.  So I'll just say: Good luck where ever you go, Rudy.  Whether it be in the NBA or back to Europe, doesn't matter.  However, if you choose to remain in the NBA and get traded, do us a favor and don't make many threes when you play against us, ok?

Hopefully he hooks up with Sergio Rodriguez again. Those backdoor alley oops that they connected on several times throughout his rookie season showed great chemistry between the 'Spanish Armada'. Id hope to see that Rudy Fernandez again someday.

The "Spanish Armada" was destroyed off the coast of England in the reign of Queen Elisabeth. I'm biased against Spanish sports teams and players. world cup winners Spain, tour de France winner from Spain, center from NBA champs Spain. Tennis dude Spanish.  I'm over Spain and I want to remember Rudy as a flashy, smug, and talented prospect who had potential for greatness in a new nation, but in the end sunk off the coast of a rainy and dreary place. Good bye Spain thanks for trying.

i honestly love rudy as a player... i really thought he can bring something to our team like what ginobili did with the spurs.. you are a good passer, shooter, moves well without the ball, you're a good player... you'll do well anywhere you go.. good luck!

Or Shane Larkin ? This kid is 5''11" with a 44" vertical. Absolutely lighting it up for Miami.

although I do think that eraser head haircut is a little rediculous and outdated but none the less kid could either be huge or a complete bust and at this point if we had that number 1 pick I wouldn''t pass on him then I''d go out and get someone ...

Yeah It would be a good deal for them but who Olshey isnt reading this haha. If we can do this trade to start our off season we would be in great shape.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
