Well I agree with that ranking, and I guess everyone else over there does too because no one is arguing that. EVERYONE is arguing Wade over Kobe though. ha ha ha. People are mad at Wade being ranked over Kobe and then people are mad at the people that are mad at Wade being ranked above Kobe.

Over here everyone is arguing if Oden should start over Camby, if Andre should be traded, if we should just cut our losses with Rudy, etc. Hopefully we can all agree on this!! I'm excited from what I've heard about his off season outlook and focus this year. Can't wait to see him in action in the upcoming season!!

Hard to dispute those 3 standings although I think he will move up next year. Mr. Natural we are rooting for you!

Depending upon how Portland does this year .. Roy will either move up or down ..

After Portland wins the division, and then possibly makes it to the WCF's ..

    Roy will move up ..

If not .. he will probably stay at #3 overall ..

Roy's gonna be amazing next year. Did you read MB's article on him and LA?

Roy should be ranked over Kobe next year if he can lead us deep into the playoffs. He is already on par with Kobe's greatness in the 4th quarter, what B needs to do is play better defense and not coast so much through the first half. He needs a little bit of that killer instinct in the early minutes to set the tone for the rest of the night.

DHawes - I don't know if Roy should be ranked above Kobe next year unless either Roy steps up his defense a few notches consistently throughout every game and have that killer instinct right away (like you said) or Kobe retires. Plus Brandon would probably have to consistently score more than Kobe, have a better record than Kobe, go further in the playoffs than Kobe, and get at least one or two triple doubles to get the national media's attention. I don't think all that will happen by next year.

Please tell me you know B Roy has already had a couple triple doubles last year .. getting a couple this year will not be as hard as you seem to make it out to be ..

Scoring more then Kobe will be hard as Portlands offense is not as many shots per game as the Lakers .. (its the slowest offense in the league) which means about 3/4ths the amount of shots as Kobe gets .. so its going to be hard to consistantly score more then Kobe .. Having a better record then Kobe is not an individual player stat .. ergo that makes no sense on your part .. as does going further in the playoffs (again a team effort not individual, you can tell the difference between the two can you not ?)

But as it is right now with Kobe clearly on the back end of his career .. I see no reason why if Brandon pushes himself he could not simply take the number 2 spot away from a declining Kobe .. by next year ..

    Portland vs Grizzlies : Roy had 26pts, 9 assists, 8 rebounds .

    Portland vs Bucks : Roy had 23pts, 6 assists, 8 rebounds .

Portland vs Kings : Roy had 25pts, 10 assists, 5 rebounds.

Portland vs Miami : Roy had 28pts, 8 assists, 4 rebounds.

    Guess I mispoke on B Roy's triple doubles ..

First of all, Brandon had ZERO triple doubles last year so I have no idea how else to respond to that. Also I didn't say I was holding Brandon to those terms, I was suggesting that the national media probably wouldn't even say Brandon is close to Kobe unless he did those things, so yes that does make sense on "my" part, since I didn't say I held him too that. I just said he needs to step his defense up consistently and get that killer instinct at the beginning of games. (You can read, can you not?)

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
