Portland still has 3 European players rigthts they are:
Claver, Victor - Power Electronics Valencia (Spain)
    Freeland, Joel - Unicaja (Spain)
Koponen, Petteri - Virtus Bologna (Italy)
What do you think we will do with these players and who do you think they will be like when they come into the NBA

With Portland's continued botched job of handling European players ..

I personally think we should get outta the european players market all together ..

I'm not sure Portland is to blame for the handling of the Euro players. I feel like KP may have bothced a lot of the handling of these contracts and they have been a really low priority so far for Cho with all the other things that have been going on. Rudy has mishandled his own situation in Portland and Mills just didn't prove himself when he had time on the court. I do agree with one thing though and that is I believe that Portland should package all their players to a team that is rebuilding for something in return. A team like New Orleans could benefit from those palyers and a guy like Rudy. Whether they want the headache of Rudy or not after what they just went through with CP3 though is a different story.

I agree that it seems like something went seriously wrong with Chacho and Rudy. I would think the chances that Claver wants to come over are slim to none after hearing from Chacho and Rudy both that he is going to have to play defense, not turn the ball over, and play behind Roy to play for Nate.

For 2 years I have heard it was the last year to bring Freeland over. ( I'm not that impressed by him) A big body is a big body though. Who knows when Greg will overcome his handicap. I just hope he isnt Sabas age if he ever does come over.

Koponen is the only one I really want to see at all. Good size guard, compared to a young Blake works for me. But there is no room for another rookie pg here, and he broke his foot.

The only thing I know for sure, is that Cho has his work cut out for him, and that it not only KP's mess he has to clean up. Wasn't the point of letting KP go, to share the credit ? Double edged sword imo.

I am tired of world economics I say trade them for what we can get for them and hire a few from our own country. Wasting a draft pick on a guy that wont be here in 2 maybe 3 years and still might be a bust. If they want to come play let them try it from a farm league and earn their way to the NBA. This whole Rudy thing has put a bad taste in my mouth about euro players.

The bright side of Euro players is Nico. Spanish players have left a bad taste in Portlands mouth.

Shabazz or Saric. We need bench scoring.

But I rather move up and get Oladipo.

well mccollum looks cool but lillard was a rarity when it comes to small school ballers being successful I don''t see 2 small school ballers 2 drafts in a row especially one comeing from a weak draft being anything spectacular
