I think it's not serious. I think he just knows a member of the team and was asked to be in this clip.

yeah, i don't think its as big a deal as dwight was making it sound. no biggie. i could hardly even tell it was him. its not like he was the one holding the blunt or the wads of cash.

Nothing is ever as big of a deal as the Portland media make it out to be.

btw - that's about the dumbest song and video i have ever seen. i WOULD question Brandon's judgement being associated with that piece of crap. i wonder if he ran to the atm for them and got ones for a couple of hundies so those fools could make it rain.

"Big G's over here, what day want, what day want?????" Stupid song, stupid video, stupid choice of video for Brandon to make an cameo in. He looked out of place in that video. I don't think he needs to worry about street cred in portland. He should just worry about finding a better point guard to play with.

No wonder players don't want to come here in free agency. They all feel like fish in a fish bowl, where every action is exponentially criticized under a microscope.

Personally, his cameo in the rap video isn't a very  big deal to me. He came out, spoke about his dislike of the drug use in the video and stated that he doesn't want to be affiliated with them, he just made a bad decision allowing them to take his photo for their webpage and they took advantage of him. True or not, he said it and that is what matters in the court of public opinion. With that said, if you don't want to live in a fishbowl, don't become a celebrity. It should be expected that people will be out to evaluate your everymove. The people who are concerned about the fishbowl, typically are people who make poor decisions in the first place. That is why it hasn't been an issue for Roy up to this point, and if they are that concerned then I don't think they would fit in with the Rip City culture. Just my opinion.

I think this should die right at his interview, He did what all athletes should do. He came right out and made no excuses, took responsibility, time to move on.

Obviously it was like his friends coaxing him into something like that, just look at his face in the video, he's so uncomfortable.

well mccollum looks cool but lillard was a rarity when it comes to small school ballers being successful I don''t see 2 small school ballers 2 drafts in a row especially one comeing from a weak draft being anything spectacular
