    ESPN is reporting that Carmelo is a short timer in Denver and that they are shopping him around. So I ask you please don't post anything saying Carmelo to Portland, He wouldn't fit here and we don't need another 2 weeks of the CP3 like discussions. NO!!!!!!!!! trade machine links either.

    I have to agree with this one, I don't like Anthony. He is another bad seed. He's already had multiple encouters with law enforcement and it isn't worth bringing him here.

    Talent wise, he's just the lights out scorer we need along side Roy, but I don't know if I could wrap my mind around rooting for him. I've disliked him for so long, it would definitely take a while to warm up to him in a Portland uniform.

    The Blazers do need a big trade. I've been saying this for some time now, but Melo is not the answer, mainly due to his personality. I think he is too 'big time' for a small city for Portland.

    Mello and KMart were the catalysts in my referring to that team as the "Thuggets".  No thank you.  Pass.  ClydeFrog hit the nail on the head.  This team DOES need a big trade, and likely...a smaller one as well.  I see both happening before the deadline.  Cho will do this right, and we'll be done with trade talk for years (major trade talk anyway)

    Im an Apple seed, that boy can flat out play, but i dont like his fit for us. I love his game though.

    Great player. Opposite when it comes to a character standpoint, especially when you're talking this Blazer team.

    Melo would be a cancer to this team ..

    Especially after how its been purposefully constructed to be a group of good guys .. not thugs .. or jailblazer-esq ..

    10 replies 9 no's 1 maybe. I thank god that this proves the that the fans here care more about morals, character  and good role models than a players scoring average. I was so sick of the term jailblazers. I was at the game in Oakland when J.R Rider went into the stands after someone that was heckling him, I was so embarrassed to be a fan that day even though in Oakland Many of the fans are of questionable character (the Stadium is in one of the highest crime rate area of the city)and love to see that kinda stuff. That would never happen here, I am proud to be part of this fan base and so very proud of this very young team. Okay time to get off my "soap box"

    If Carmelo is over playing in Denver, he's probably not looking to make a jump to Portland. Just a guess.

    Yeah i agree, leave a B+ team for another B+ team, no.
    But give the guy a break, he has been in the shadow of LeBron his whole career, came into the league a year older than James, and loads of people still thought that he wasnt going to make it. Well for a kid who grew up on the streets of Baltimore, he sure as hell is making it now, just got married too, Good for you Mello.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
