Can Blazers hit 60 i think so because the fact we were 50-32 and we were injured alot we lost oden early and przybilla we didnt have a center basically (yes i know that aldridge was a center at texas) also we got camby halfway and with his help we finished   18-8 and with oden coming back either starter or back up to camby and the other stuff ya and p.s NBA.Com said Brandon Roy Can be a Hall Of Famer but what does he need to work on????

I think A 60 win season is more of a wish or dream that we all have. However the reality of it all is that the Blazers more then likely have another 50+ win season. What we sometimes forget is that sure the Blazers have put together a very promising group of athletes for this season, but it is going to take time for them to get use to playing with each other and finding that magic "groove" that is so important to have come playoff time. We might even have a rough start out of the gate so don't be surprised by that! Panic usually sets in at the start of the season if the team isn't firing on all cylinders...but be patient, and if the injury bug can stay away this team has the capabilities to do some real damage. Rip city baby!

    peace out,

Only one team in Trail Blazers history (1990-91) has won 60 or more games. Seems like a stretch that this team will be the first since then.

60 wins sounds nice thinking about it, but the reality is they just don't grow on trees. The only Blazers team to achieve this feat was the 90-91 Trail Blazers who went 63-19. The 90 and 2000 teams got to 59 and the 92 team won 57. Heck, our Championship team of 77 only went 49-33. While I love our team this year, they still don't have the experience as the veteran teams before them. So, while it's nice to dream big, I wouldn't have your heart set on reaching that lofty goal. I'd be thrilled with anything above 54. I think we need to focus on getting out of the first round of the playoffs before we bring 60 wins into the mix.

I wouldn't bet on it, but if we can start fast and stay healthy, this is a roster that can do it with a little luck.

60 is a bit lofty in my opinion as well.  I'm calling 54-55 now, with the roster "as is" and with no major "unforseen circumstances".  There will assuredly be hiccups along the way, likely in fact, to start the season.  This team will have to find it's "sea legs" out on the road, where some say chemistry comes easier.  Daddy said it best.  Be patient.  Remember last season?  Nate had to incorporate a healthy Oden into the offense and find a way to get him touches at the start of the season.  Matthews will have to be integrated now as well.  The difference between 55 and 60 wins is really more than mathematically just 5

The blazers do have 7 ex top ten picks on their roster so maybe a 60 win season or close is not too much to expect
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

If the Blazers were an Eastern Conference team, this might not be so lofty, but as a Western Conference team it isn't realistic. I could see them going 54, 55 wins but I think 60 is stretching it, besides the Cavs are a perfect example that 60 wins means absolutely nothing. It is all about the hardware.

I'd aim for 55 before 60. But we might have a chance.  Instead, what I'm hoping for are-
    55 Wins
A top three seed in the playoffs
    Western Conference Finals

I think there are better things to aim for then 60 wins, I mean, the Lakers only got 57 last year and the still won it all.

I personally think PDX can achieve a 57 win season this year .. with out everything fireing on all cylinders ..

I also think that this is the year PDX will break threw and reach at bere minimum the Second round .

No team out west has improved significantly enough to say Portlands not a very real threat to get the number 2 or 3 spot ..

Matter of fact out side of the Lakers picking up a couple of bench players (Blake you traitor!! J/k) no one out west really improved their starter's ..

Portland is now healthy .. and went 18-8 with Camby when he did not know our offense or defensive rotations .. With everyone back .. I see that as a VERY huge thing for Portland .

Its almost like Portland has a brand new team .. sept everyone know's their defensive / offensive plays !!

This spells doom to everyone out west in my honest opinion .. if Portland can go an net 50 wins .. with literally half a roster, couple of rookies, and a brand new (to the franchise) center .. with out our two Pillers (Roy/LMA)

I for one do not think its out of reach to say 57 game win season .. especially now that Denver is actively shopping Melo .. and Okc has never been a threat to us .. and all the players exodus from Utah ..

Portlands going to win the division by at least 3-5 games this year ..

This is how I personally see it.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
