On the bench with little to no play time to start with. He's got to prove he's ready to play meaningful minutes. Until then on the bench.

what bothers me is how long it takes to get these rookies some meaningful playing time

first he got to be consistent from the nba 3, watching him in summer league looks like that can take a while

If he shoots from the bench, it'll improve his range. Lefty's are rare, so he'll be here for sometime.

So are we saying that he is the best rookie we signed?
Or he can help the team the most?
Cuz he does have a decent size, but i saw that game in SL where he blew those FreeThrows.

It is hard to say he is going to be the most effective rookie we signed partly because of his tools and partly because we have yet to see Elliot Williams play a minute. I hear he was down in LA working out with Andre Miller. That can only help him develop skills and improve his game. As far as Babbit goes, he will have a limited role, but how limited will be based off of how he does in the pre-season and how he ends up fitting into the system. I also think that what ever ends up happening with Rudy will drastically effect his role.

it seems more likely that Armon will get more minutes this year than Luke as far as rookies are concerned.

The more I think about luke the more I get the feeling that he will have alot of minutes as the season progresses especially if he is consistant and can get open. I do agree with the preseason showing us what we have. Summer league is fine but it is 4 games with other rookies or one year folk. I think we may have some sleepers in our line up that may change all our preceptions of who to keep and who to trade and who wants to be here and who wants to increase their trade value.

Yeah I was one of them *blushes*. I was never a diehard fan of basketball until the 2011-2012 postseason. I could name every team, but I always forgot two. Kings and Blazers.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...
