    Here's a snippet-
     The Portland Trail Blazers have hired Bill Branch and Steve Rosenberry to become the team's assistant general managers, it was announced today by General Manager Rich Cho.

    Branch's responsibilities will center on NBA talent along with Director of NBA Scouting Michael Born, while Rosenberry and Director of College Scouting Chad Buchanan will focus on the college ranks.

    "I've had the opportunity to work closely with both Bill and Steve and have always been impressed by their tremendous basketball acumen, work ethic and character," said Cho. "I am thrilled to have them join me, Chad and Mike as part of our front office staff."      CONTINUE READING>>>

    Great !  Now can we get an answer on the Euro contracts ?   How many years can they be " stashed " ?
     Seems like I've heard for 2 years now that it was the last year to bring to bring Freeland over.
    What's the deal with Freeland, Koponen and Claver ??  How do they fit into the roster puzzle ??
    I am a fan of scrapping !

    I believe Euro rights are held until the player either passes away or the team gives them up via trade or to rid themselves of the cap holds that come with the territory. I'm not 100% sure, but fairly certain they are nearly lifetime rights if they ever wanted to come over to the NBA.

    Thanks Siccolo, not to knock on Bosh. I think if he was the number one option he would go back to being a beast. I miss making jokes about him playing for the RAPTORS. He is a great player.
