With the detroit pistons signing tracy mcgrady there are rumors they will trade either richard hamilton and/or tashawn prince.... would either 1 make a good piece to the puzzle here in portland?  i like richard hamilton for his shooting... but prince is a long SF ,good defender, who can also knock down the big shot. it will be interesting to see what they are asking for each player.

No he's too small to play the PF. He'll get beasted in the post. We don't need Tayshaun Prince anymore, we have Batum.

I am a fan of everything Blazers since '88. Well, maybe not the Strickland era. Glad to be back in Portland after all these years.

speaking of trades it looks like Darren Collinson is going to the Indiana Pacers in a 4team 5player deal with Trevor Ariza going to the Hornets. Ariza is a nice player but he just signed a 35-36 million deal and will not help the Hornets make the playoffs. This moves means that Chris Paul is not going anywhere any time soon.

we have Batum. but who do we have coming off the bench at the sf position? Matthews? nope he is going to play primarily sg behind brandon roy. so i ask again who comes off the bench at the sf, luke babbit? do you really trust a rookie who hasn't looked that great in summer league? i know i don't. so who else? dante cunningham? well he is penciled in at PF and that want him to bulk up to play that position... soooo...... ?  i'm not saying we need prince but he is a good long armed defender who has good on the ball defense and will cause havoc defensively when in the game. someone will get him. and with todays moves made by the 4team trade i'm sure we will be making a move soon.... we'll see exactly what that is soon hopefully... don't get me wrong i like batum but he is not our savior he is if anything unproven still

Im going to disregard that blasphemy about Batum B4L247, but i agree with everything else. What about Rudy the Disgruntled and  expendables to Detroit for  both of them ?

    Tayshaun Prince or Kwame Brown.
Now Granted Kwame is/has not been the player everyone hoped he would but his size allows him to be a decent player in the NBA no matter what. What Tayshaun lacks in size, Kwame makes up, and vice versa with speed though. and cant forget about Princes block on Reggie Miller

they wouldn't take another shooter, they most likely want a big.. a PF or C. i'd throw them priz, and pendregraph for prince.

rumor so far though is OKC Thunder are interested in getting prince... deal might happen soon.(for the people who said we don't need prince we have batum) -hold up don't they have a SF already? by the name of Kevin Durant? ohhh yes they do... WHICH SHOWS WHY YOU CAN NEVER  HAVE TO MANY GOOD PLAYERS! if they get him for a steal just remember they are a team we have to contend with forever and ever ever...

We have Batum who's ready for 35 minutes and Matthews, Babbitt, and Cunningham who can fill out the other 13 minutes. Also, Prince is well past his prime and I fear he could be injured in the latter part of his career due to his frail frame. He's a shell of his former self.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
