As it stands, who can Portland beat convincingly?
(Note that I do believe that any team can beat any team on any night. )
Then who can't Portland likely beat as it stands?
(Be serious here people. I do understand those of you who are very passionate about this team (and I am one of you) might say we can beat anyone, being honest. But for example, can we beat a Miami or an LAL?)

I think Portland can be a top 4 team in the west.  They can definitly beat the likes of OKC, DAL, and others.  I also think we have the best chance to beat the Lakers out of everyone, but I still think it'd be a longshot in a 7 game series.  I don't think we can beat teams like Miami (of course), Boston, and Orlando.  But considering injuries it's a tough to say.

We match up well against anyone, Mathews is a beefier version of Batum, we already know mathews can guard Carmello (someone who gave batum some problems last year) and Mathews could probably guard Lebron better than Batum, so I honestly think we can beat anyone in this league, if healthy, our size is going to be able to contend with the lakers and Magic, and is going to cause problems for Miami and other smaller teams. It all depends how much our perimeter defense increases and how healthy teams are next year.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.

Nah, Washington would just sign him themselves, save them a pick. Also, no way JJ is worth a lottery pick. Oladipo would be great, for pretty much any team in the NBA. I don''t think it''s possible to get him though. Should focus on getting a defe...

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

AHA! Mystery solved Chloe. And so what? Just because a woman is weaker, she can slap a man?

EZ, are you kidding me? You essentially want to trade LMA for Noel, or worse, DEANDRE JORDAN?

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
