    Hopefully we convince them to throw in that 1st round pick they have formerly belonging to the hornets. or taj gibson?

    Good thing bleacher report is not very reliable because Rudy for James Johnson would be a bad move in my opinion.

    At this point, there is no bad move to get unhappy Rudy out of here. No minutes here for him.
     I still would like the true information about all the Euros contracts.
      I would trade all  their rights away, let someone else have the headache. How many years can they be " stashed overseas" ? 
    I've heard it was the last year to bring Freeland over for 2 years now. With Rudy  adding to what Chacho started, I don't see Claver in the Blazers future.

    Agree with Taj.  Problem for the Blazers being Rudy did nothing to improve his value last season.

    It would be a bad move for the Blazers to cave into what Rudy wants.  He wants to whine and ruin his value, fine, sit his butt on the bench until a good trade becomes available or his contract is up.   I think he could be a very valuable piece to an NBA team and I dont want to see him given away to help another team.

    I think its clear at this point that Cho might be willing to bring back Rudy if we don't get a good enough offer for him, after all we could use the shooting if he plays as hard as he's capable of playing. It's a contract year, so if he really wants to stay in the NBA he would want to return to rookie season form. Either way that's what people are going to start to think, and that's probably in Cho's plan as well. It's so common now for players to whine and make wish lists now that it may not be as much of a blow as years past.

    I don't really think Rudy is going to play any better here in Portland.
    His rookie season was great! But the next year.. ehh not so great.
    He can't play defense, and thats what the blazers are all about.
    I think Luke Babbitt is gonna surprise some people this year.
    And with his sharp shooting people are gonna be like Rudy who?!

    i think he fits best in chicago he might be able to start there right now they have ronnie brewer penciled in as the starter who is a good defender but does not possess a perimeter game. they were hoping to get jj reddick but the magic matched and kept him so now rudy might be able to fill that spot for them. if it were a trade for taj gibson straight up i'd do that trade(gives us insurance at the pf/c). all in all i think we are in no hurry to trade rudy and his value could actually go up when he plays in the world games... if he shoots lights out we could be able to get more for him maybe taj and a 1rnd pick

    I'd take Goran Dragic for Rudy and a bag of Fritos any day. as much as I love Rudy, his attitude recently has been downright poisonous. an attitude like Rudy's brings the whole team down. I'd love to keep him if he changes his tune, but in his current state I feel like we might as well get some value out of him. I do like the Taj Gibson trade though.

    Man that bulls team changed overnight it seems.
    I totally forgot that Ben Gordon was gone( you know he's British?), and Tyrus Thomas, Gone. Damn.
    With Rudy just projecting a huge frown, i thought the Taj Gibson deal was done, but now your talking about James Johnson and a first round pick next year. Man seems like these Blazers want new people all the time, and are never thinking in the present. We just acquired like what 3-4 new rookies, we still have Bayless who in my opinion never got enough attention and if Portland doesnt give him some soon should get outta Dodge, i think Portland should either take the Taj Gibson deal, or dump Rudy(if they can) and go after one of the many free agents still left, and shoot for a SF or PF position. Or they take Rudy andd Miller and find a decent trade using both of them

    The only need this team has besides the obvious in my opinion, is a back-up for LA.  In a perfect world, a Brandon Bass type of player.  If a player like Bass could be had for Rudy (and change), that is a deal I would make YESTERDAY

    we'll see what happens soon. yahoo sports is reporting the same thing. that a deal may take place monday and that the blazers want taj gibson but chicago does not wanna move him. but what if we sweetened the deal and threw in priz &/or pendregraph. maybe it'll go down... i'm just anxious to see what happens and when.

    No way I see that deal going down with anything more than Rudy, unless maybe cash considerations or a future 2nd rounder
