Just came across this on the web and thought it might be of interest.  Does this now mean that NY is a player in the CP3 sweepstakes?  If so, you can bet that Mello is paying attention

I don't think so. They aren't superstars, and Portlands offer was much better for CP3. Even if they don't take Portlands, they can do better than any or all of those three players.

The only way the Knicks get Paul is if they wait for him to become a free agent and they might be able to workout a sign and trade or CP3 take less $$.
If the Knicks offer Randolph, you can bet that deal will be done quicker than minute rice.

If i were Shannon Brown, i would do everything i could to try and get on Miami, he is the Talent Cherry on top for that team, and not only would they be unstoppable, but unbeatable would surely follow. If Brown wants to win, possibly even start he has that ability, it just comes down to how much Miami has left, and if he is willing to take a pay cut, if needed.

Like i have said before, thats the team that almost every player wants to be on, look at what happen to Juwan Howard, Portland needed all of the big men it could carry, and still this guy ends up on the what looks like the best team next year.

But for Portlands sake, i would love Brown to join up, perhaps Rudy and a few of the new guys for maybe Shannon and Sasha if the Lakers are tryin to get rid of them, but i think they know the true value of Brown and are waiting for him to bloom.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game
