July 29th, on the second day of the 6th Stankovic Continental Champions Cup, Australia against Slovenia, Australia won with 77-63, and the key player of the backcourt form Australia Patrick Mills performed very well, he scored 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in 19 minutes.

From yesterday's matches, we can see that Slovenia and Australia are a little better than the other two teams. The easy win for Slovenia makes them think high of themselves; however, when facing Australia, they are blocked with failure consecutively.

Today, at the beginning, Slovenia was leading with a three-pointer, on the contrary, Australia's attacks were blocked several times, and until 2 minutes later they started to score. In the second quarter, Worthington helped the team score with a three-pointer, and then Mills broke through from the exterior-line, seized good opportunity to shoot another three-pointer. He led the team surpass Slovenia with a third three-pointer. Therefore, it was the time for them to control the pace of the match. On the second half, Australia players Worthington, Ingles and Gibson worked together to beat Slovenia.

The key player of Australia Patrick Mills is not only good at deploying in attack, but also good at shooting three-pointers under great pressure. Besides, Mills' command and panetrate ability are also outstanding. Last night against China, Anderson's final hit was assisted by Mills. Through these two matches, we may conclude that it seems like Mills will become the new king of Australia Basketball backcourt.

The above article was written by the Chinese media so excuse some of the comprehension issues. Patty shot 3/5 behind the arc and on a side note Slovenia featured NBA players Goran Dragic and Primoz Brezec. Patty has 1 more game to play against IRAN.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Thank God they are 19 games over 500.  Mayb...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
