I found this over at ClubBlazers:

Rumor of the hour is that Boston maybe involved as they want Rudy and are willing to give up one of their draft picks for him. It would involve Joel Przybilla & Rudy Fernandez for Rasheed Wallace contract (i.e. retires) and a future 1st round pick. Portland would then send the exception & pick to another team.
Taking it further to what I've been told is that Boston is in the lead because of the future 1st has less restrictions and that Boston is probably 2-3 years away from becoming a lottery team again.

Chicago is offering their own 1st round pick which is less desirable, but Portland is asking for Chicago's rights to Charlotte's 2012 1st round pick.

New York is less desirable of all the three teams involved with New York offering a first round pick in 2014 with a slew of restrictions (making it more like 2017). Now IF New York is offering Anthony Randolph for Rudy & Jeff Pendergraph, then you are talking about a good trade.

Anyway, I was told Boston is the front runner and that it will be a three team deal with Portland getting a young PG back.

$8.65M - Rudy Fernandez & Joel Przybilla to Boston
    $7.08M - Rasheed Wallace ($6.32M retiring), Tony Gaffney & 2013 1st round pick to ?
    $??.??M - {young PG} to Portland
Take it for what its worth, but from those rumors I would have to say that Rudy has more value around the league than I previously perceived him to have. I would if we would swing Wallace and the pick to New Orleans for Collison?

The Knicks won't move Randolph in a Rudy deal, they just gave up David Lee for him. Plus, we'd never see the light of day in regards to their future 1st round pick, so let's rule out the Knicks.

Chicago is going to be a top 10 team in the league for a long time, so I don't see the incentive to add another mid-20's pick. Now, if they do put up Charlotte's 2012 pick, then game on!

I like the Boston idea the most. Worst case scenario is we include Joel but absorb Sheed's savings right away and get a great future pick. Boston is in full on Win Now mode so take them for all their worth. Their pick will be very attractive in 2-3 years. And the best case is flipping Boston's assets over to another team for a young point guard.

    Don't hold your breath....
jwquick Rudy trade talks likely on back burner until Sunday. GM Cho tells agent Andy Miller he will meet w/coach McMillan in Vegas on Sun to discuss
Looks like the team is weighing their options or really are focusing in on another deal.

Interesting.  I heard the same Quick interview on 95.5 today and read between the lines a bit.  I can't quote Quick, but will say that at one point he did say that Cho would be going to Nate (Vegas) to discuss the Rudy deal further, so not to expect anything until after Sunday.  My IMMEDIATE thought, was WHY?  A deal ONLY involving Rudy and Boston could be discussed and finalized OVER THE PHONE in less time than it would take to draw up the paperwork!  To me, I sensed something bigger.  Something worth paying for the round trip flight out of the state to "discuss".   Just a thought.  I believe that the PG situation is being addressed RIGHT NOW.

On the Boston deal,   another young pg , woo hoo, we need another one of those. LOL.....

Everyone who keeps saying Harris, wait until we see Williams first. He and Johnson are going to give Bayless competition.

Bayless is more of a SG than a PG, we've utilized him as a hybrid PG/SG. I'd like to see Bayless to play more SG and let Matthew's come off the bench for Batum or vice versa.

The latest from Discovery69 over at Club Blazers-

Here are the latest with Boston and New York.

Cho has backed off to say he is not in any hurry to trade Rudy. Basically Cho is waiting to see if Boston or NY Knicks will change their offers.

    Boston
Boston isn't sure they are willing to give up two 1st round picks as they are countering with a 1st & 2nd round picks. Basically Boston is getting two good role players in Rudy Fernandez and Joel Przybilla.

The problem for Boston is they haven't found any better free agents or better players from other teams willing to take back Rasheed Wallace contract for an exception. With Kendrick Perkins out 6-7 months with a torn ACL, the Celtics need a center and Joel would fix that problem.

Here is the "rumored" offer by Portland:

$8.65M - Rudy Fernandez, Joel Przybilla and Portland 2011 2nd to Boston
$7.08M - Rasheed Wallace, Tony Gaffney, 2011 & 2013 1st round picks (both picks lottery protected over several years) to Portland

    New York
Right now the offer is less thrilling as NY offers a 1st round pick in 2014 and Toney Douglas. Portland wants Anthony Randolph and New York is thinking about it, but hasn't approved any deals yet.
I have to think if the Boston deal goes down, Sheed and those picks are being flipped somewhere. If we are sending back Joel with Rudy, Cho should be holding out for 2 first round picks.

As for the Knicks, I just don't see ANY use for Toney Douglas and you know that pick will be heavily protected beyond belief. Also, while Randolph will be nice, where is he going to find minutes unless he's being moved to another team as well?

just because rudy has a stick up his a** doesn't mean we should move him right now. we need him to settle down and not hurt his trade value, we could get a good piece to the puzzle for him.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
