    Boston (9)
     33%
    Chicago (7)
     26%
    New York (6)
     22%
    Other (5)
     19%
Reports are the Knicks, Bulls, and Celtics are all interested in Rudy. Where will he go and who will he be traded for? Wilson Chandler, Taj Gibson?

Rudy should stay, but not happy. He wonts more playing time. I hope he goes to the bulls. Beat the Heat Rudy. We will beat LA and see you soon in the NBA Finals for a great show down.

Really no one realistically on those three teams gets me going and I don't think a 1-1 player swap helps us either at the moment due to our roster size, so my guess would be whichever team offers up the best future first round pick with the least projection on it.

I do like Gibson, but I feel Cunningham isn't too far behind him in terms of talent. Chandler would be a good piece if we had to move Batum but currently it would only create a log jam at the SF spot. I really like Big Baby from Boston, but with Sheed retiring and Perk out until December, I just don't see them trading big for small.

When I heard Boston was in the mix, my first thought was a package deal for Rajon Rando. He's not as good as CP3, but hes is young and has NBA finals experience. What do you think?

there is no way boston would give up rondo.  Probably the best deal we could get for rudy would be rudy and pendergraph or cunningham for taj gibson.

Thank you Cransford, not a chance in h e double hockey sticks Rajon gets moved. I think he'll get moved to Boston because they are in the most desperate mode right now to win and will be willing to give up the most in order to bring him to their team.

How about Rudy and cunningham for wilson chandler. we don't have a great back up at sf and chandler can fill that void.

Do we need a great back up small forward though? Batum should be able to should 30-35 minutes and Wesley can take over the rest of the time. I really don't think we are looking for a player back in return, because of how crowded the roster is.

If I were Portland, I'd send him to New York. First of all, he could play with Sergio again. Second of all, you just take draft picks in return. You are going to get higher first fround picks by trading him to the Knicks than either of the other teams.

i dont know about that is if Rando really wants to win then boston is old it showed there good but they dont have the legs to go with lakers and now the heat would absoluty crush the celtics so if you could find someway to get rando that would be a good fit but paul with NO is a better chance of getting him.

Yes we do need a good back up for batum, I'm not gonna risk playing batum more than 30 minutes a night and if matthews is backing up roy then who's gonna back up batum? Cunningham, Matthews (after backing up roy)?

You needs to recheck that thought. Rudy made over 100 Threes two years ago. He can shoot the ball and The Blazers are having a bad time in making shoots. Rudy is a great blazer and now with the "bulls." He is not replace-able. Lots of Blazer fans ( The REAl Ones) Would love to see him stay.

I like the New York trade because Portland get a young talent in Toney Douglas first of all, and a first round pick later in 2014. I don't think Portland will take it but Portland does want Anthony Randolph. New York is skeptic about the idea but I think that would be the best.

We don't need another guard. Both Douglas and Walker are good players, but then we'd be in the same situation we are in now.

As for potentially missing Rudy's 3 point shooting, Matthews made 38% from downtown last year as a rookie. Pretty legit.

2 years ago, how many did he make last year? He made 98 and shot 36% from 3pt range. He's a lousy defender and in general not that great of a player.  A true Blazer fan wants to see the team get better not stay around the same.  I'm a fan of change and a fan of success Rudy isn't a good Blazer and I want to see us get something good in return not just a draft pick.

Wafer is a great addition for that team, tougher and just as good at finding his own shot as Rudy. Rudy is probably going to end up staying I think.

There's no way we let Rudy stay and ruin our season with his whiny, woe-is-me attitude. He's not going to play behind Miller, Bayless, Roy, Batum, or Matthews. I'd be very upset if he was still a Trail Blazer come opening night.

nah no way. they will find a taker even if they have to take a 2014 1st rounder... the lakers will resign brown & i doubt the wafer deal has much if any effect on the rudy trade. so with all that said he'll be shipped soon... to another team in the nba. or back to spain =)

    From SLAM-
There are rumors that the Bulls could trade Taj Gibson to the Trail Blazers for Rudy Fernandez. Writes longtime Bulls columnist Sam Smith: “From what I’ve heard it’s in Portland’s hands now for what they want. I’ve heard the Bulls have a pretty good shot, but nothing matters until it’s done.”
IMO, that's really good value for Rudy and finds us a long-term backup PF solution, but I still wonder if Gibson is that much better than Cunningham. Who knows, maybe Taj is part of another deal or Cho has another deal in place to consolidate the roster?

Wow a deal that makes sense for both teams included, and Rudy might actually thrive on that team, it's not that I don't want him to suceed, it's just there is no room on this roster for players who can't guard the perimeter....even Patty does a better job at keeping his opponent between himself and the basket.

gibson is better defensively, is a better rebounder and is also slightly taller than cunningham.  Also at this point he is probably the best value we can get for rudy unless we package him with pryzbilla or miller for someone like devin harris or mo williams.

What is the situation on retrading players? I know after you sign a player you can't trade him until something like Mid December, anything barring us from flipping Gibson as a trade chip? (I think he'd be a great fit for this team, I just also think it's great to have options right now)

Knicks signed Roger Mason Jr. i read they were not willing to give us a future # 1 pick so they went with signing him.

and no chicago signed boozer, korver, and brewer(he was with grizzlies last yr) as free agents.

so with that said chicago & boston are still in play for rudy. chicago is more likely if they don't sign mCgrady by then. and if it comes down to it we might have to settle for a 2nd round pick or a player swap to get rudy off the team. unless we decide to ship he back to spain(if a team buys out his contract)

Personally I think we'd get the most value from those three from Taj Gibson. I'd also like to see a Goran Dragic trade, which is probably never going to happen. however, if Rudy can keep his mouth shut I'd love to see him stay in a Blazers jersey. if he really is unhappy, then let him go, but he'd go far as a Blazer in my opinion.
