I am hoping for a deep deep playoff run this year. It's only a matter of time before Miami learns to play together and takes control of the NBA. Portland needs to win one within the next few years or it's only going to get tougher.

What I hope for and what I think are two different things. Portland can win a championship if they pick up one of these all star point guards. We need to get either Paul, Parker, or Harris BEFORE the season starts. If we get him afterward, our play will change in the middle of the season. While we are a home court playoff team, we need that second all star to bring us over the Lakers so that we CAN make the finals. After that, it's going to be LeBron James that we have to beat. He is the one of Miamis big three that Portland has trouble with.

At the very least we need to get out of the first round! Outside of the Bobcats and Grizzlies (Both expansion teams within the past 15 years) we are tied with the Knicks for the longest drought of not making it out of the 1st round.

With the team we are assembling, we should make it to the WCF. I don't think we're quite ready just yet to hang with the Lakers, but this would be a great start and potential stepping stone to make it back to the NBA Finals!

I'm expecting a more normal year as far as injuries and that to me means a top 4 seed going into the playoffs. Looking at it right now, I will be dissapointed with anything less that Western Conference finals. Maybe I'll re-evaluate that for myself later in the year. Could go either way.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Thank God they are 19 games over 500.  Mayb...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
