    I think Nate might has misspoke when he said that. I don't know why the team would rush to judgment. Why not bring both Patty and Armon to camp and let them fight it out there? There's no reason to hurry, at least from Portland's perspective. Not to mention that we've only had a GM for a day and a half now, and he's the guy who, along with Nate and Paul Allen, signs off on players.

    That true Casey, thanks.  Do you know what the roster can be for training camp ? Isn't it more than 15?
    What date does training camp start ? 
    What is the date that the roster has to be down to 15 ?

    I also think this Chris Paul demanding a trade would complicate making a decision on Mills and Johnson. If you can trade a Rudy and Bayless with expiring contracts of Miller and Joel for Chris Paul then you have two empty guard positions to fill. Back up PG and #3 swing guard. This opens the door for both to come in. You have to figure that Matthews is going to cover back up SG and some minutes at back up SF if Nic isn't part of the deal. If Nic IS part of the deal then he moves to starting SF which will take away from him playing back up SG and they will need that guard position filled too. I'm sure they intended on having a decision, but this opportunity throws a whole new snake in the rabbit pen.

    Yea, we are in no rush to make any decisions. I think there was just a misunderstanding that the media got a hold of.
