    From NBC Sports-

As the Miami Heat continue to amass a roster of useful, skilled players, you can add one more potential acquisition to the list: Rudy Fernandez. According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, Rudy has five teams he'd like to be traded to: the Knicks, the Nets, the Bulls, the Celtics, and yes, the almighty Heat.

Although Miami could definitely use a player like Fernandez, it would be a bit difficult to land him in South Beach. It's not like Rudy's a free agent; he's simply given the Blazers a list of teams he'd be interested in playing for, which means Portland still would need to work out the specifics if they're going to oblige.

The Knicks, Nets, Bulls, and Celtics all have tradeable assets. The Heat do not. Not only does Miami not have any players to spare, but they also gave away half of their first round picks from now until 2054. NBA rules prevent a team from trading first round picks in consecutive years, which means that all the Heat can offer the Blazers in terms of "future draft considerations" would be a first rounder somewhere in the distant future.

Fernandez would be a great fit with any of these teams, though. He'd look terrific playing for Mike D'Antoni, add some perimeter scoring for the Nets, complement the Celtics' reserves, or slide into the role earmarked for J.J. Redick in Chicago. However, Rudy only finds a new home if the Blazers are willing to play ball, and with the recent shifts in the Blazers' front office, that shouldn't be taken for granted.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, i hope they just eat his contract and send him back to spain for as long as possible. He quit in the playoffs worse than lebron. YOU HAD YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR YOU!

Since this whole situation started, I still fail to understand why Rudy wants out. he's on a playoff caliber team, and is a good sixth man for us. I understand that he was in a slump in our playoff series this last season, (as far as I could tell he'd just lost confidence) but that happens to all players once in a while.

    I may just be uninformed.....

I think he suffers from the same thing that plagued Gasol early in his career. To soft, and this isnt europe. Our guys are beefed up and strong. You want to play in the NBA, you dont necessarily have to be Brutus Beefcake, but you better damn sure sound off like you got a pair. I've said all along, until the Blazers have a few, not one, or two, but a few skilled bruisers, we dont stand a chance. We've taken steps in that direction with our latest acquisitions, all the more making Rudy expendable. I love Rudy, it just happens to be an abbreviation to my name. I use to think that there was no stage to big for Rudy. However after witnessing how he folded  on us like a phlegm filled napkin, i say Adios Amigo Te' quiero mucho

WHAT MAKES THIS GUY THINK HE DESERVES A LIST OF TEAMS THAT HE GETS TO PICK? hahahahahahaha... man i hope portland ships this guy off to the clippers or some other low grade team that'll prolli not even make the playoffs... then maybe, just maybe he'll appreciate what he had here in portland. this guy swears to God that he is a superstar... maybe he was in spain, but here your just average.

when i first heard that rudy is not happy with the blazers anymore i was really saddened because i know he can be a great help to our team.. he should've been more patient on getting his game going because we all know that he is a good player, it will come to him.. he should know that he doesn't need to be a starter to be a star in this league, one good example is ginobili, he is a ginobili-like player he moves well without the ball, has range on his shot and can definitely drive into the basket.. like i said it's just sad the he doesn't have the confidence and patience to really find his game work with our blazers...

Why not? Getting Oden back for 15 a game wouldn''t be that bad if he can do as he did in his 1st season. Close to 2 blocks a game and anything close to 5 boards. He would provide a good presence and he can read the game quite well.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
