i think the blazers should pursuit Aaron Brooks.
he's a north west guy, knows brandon roy, and would compliment him Very well, and also compliments LA.
i think houstin would be willing to trade brooks since they gave up carl landry for kevin martin, and they dont really compliment each other very well.
the blazers could trade andre miller(who would compliment kevin martin well) jerryd bayless(who i think has alot of value, and whos game is stiff and not smooth, so we should trade him while he still has value) and rudy fernandez(who the rockets wanted to get on draft night) for aaron brooks & jared jeffries contract.

i like brooks alot... but idk if houston would really deal him. doubt it'll happen.... and also now there are rumors chris paul will opt out his contract in  2 years and join the heat... yes its a rumor.... but if its even being thought of by chris paul i wouldn't want him on this team only to leave down the road. sometimes its better to stick to guys with less talent but have love for this city & organization

In terms of Aaron Brooks, I doubt Houston is ready to deal him. He's been a stand up guy and next to Yao Ming he's their biggest draw. New Orleans is a different story because Paul has been playing there for a while and will leave them in two years anyway if they don't make that team a contender. This rumor is Paul's way of telling them "make us relevant or I'm leaving." This means they either make deals to help him, or make deals that involve him. If this is true, it may make Portland a more viable candidate to get him. If that is the case, he could continue to re-sign with Portland because he will be playing on a contending team that is young and has a long future in front of it. I sort of feel that either would be good, Paul would be great, but neither are likely at this point.

The only reason Chris Paul is considering Miami is because he wants to be part of a team that's a contender, and that's looking to the future. If Portland makes the right offer,(and New Orleans accepts of course) then he will see that the Blazers are his best option in that respect. I think he might like to get a shot every once in a while, as opposed to passing it off to LeDwayBosh every time down the floor.

well ya if we can somehow get chris paul that wud b sick. but NO is being stubbern, they dont wana get rid of him at least untill the next trade deadline. And the blazers dont need to be doing this wait & hope game like new york. lol and look at new york, wow they got amare stoudimire & felton, ok so there goin2 b a 35 win team at best haha. no thanx on the waiting game. i feel like we could get aaron brooks this offseason, and wud compliment b-roy OUR FRANCHISE PLAYER. seems like people even in portland over look him all the time

it would be almost impossible for cp3 to go to miami because they wouldnt have any money to sign him, he says he would go to new york with melo anyway

i just read a article claiming chris paul is telling people close to him that in 2 years he'll opt & be willing to take less to join up with his boyboy lebron in miami. they are best of friends... so trust me it definally can happen. why do u think miami is signing all these players to 2 yr deals? hmmmm....  idk might be a rumor since everybody wants to amp  up everything that has to do with miami & friends connected to d.wade/bosh/lebron trying to connect the dots..... but unless we can resign him to a new deal with no opt out claus or with a "team option" not a player option.... then i don't think he is worth the risk... we'd give up to much only to be left with nothing in 2 years... at least with aaron brooks he is a hometown kid & would love to spend the rest of his career here...

Not DPOY. All American. Player of the year in his conference twice. Past four years, McCollum, Muscala, McCollum, Muscala.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

  8. If you could be gm this offseason what would you do ?

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
