Revamp next season's halftime show

    Thinking down the road, something needs to happen to the halftime show during the regular season, when games are nationally televised I generally watch the play by play comcast sports but have to watch the halftime show nationally or just not at all...I like holton as a person and a basketball mind...but he ends up sounding like the ladies man (something phelps i think was his name in the skit) from that 90's SNL skit when he tries to accentuate things, "andre miller with the sweeeeet dime...droppiN the DIME to the big fella..." it's too much. He's great alongside you guys when he's on courtside but he tries too hard or something on the halftime show...maybe we need to sign another piece to play alongside during the halftime show, if only Rice could be in the studio and on the court at the same time!
    Also I like the guy that replaced the other announcer last season better than the original...maybe they just need a third or maybe even fourth panelist? What do you guys think?

    Honestly I don't think eh tries to hard. That is just his personality. I really enjoy him and his corkyness and I think he is doing great.

    holton is a great guy... c'mon now.. he aint no ladies man. the brotha is preacher on the side.

    I like Holton. The character you are thinking of was Leon Phelps. Tim Meadows played him. It was a pretty funny sketch actually. I get what you are saying about him SOUNDING like Leon Phelps, without the lisp. Not that Holton is a "ladies man" but he does draw some vocal comparisons to The Ladies Man. It was obviously a joke that got taken too seriously. In terms of the halftime show, I like him just fine. He's way better with Bob Akamian and Jerome Kersey than that bad joke Tony Luftman.
