Will Greg play more or Fewer than 41 games this season?
Sadly I would have to say fewer I just don't see him ever staying healthy.  On the bright side we have Camby, Priz and LA.  Go Portland!

Way to be optimistic. Just give the guy a chance and don't even speculate how many games he's going to play. Everyone knows that this next season is make or break for him. It's his contract year.

Look don't get me wrong I love Oden.  He has a Powerful game and seems to be a great guy.  I want nothing more than for him to replace the Blazer bashing Bill Walton as Portland's "greatest center ever".  I hope he plays all of our games I am just trying to guage how out of touch with reality most of our fans are.

Wow. I am an optimist, and i like G.O.'s chances because he's humble. I think he gets hurt so easily because his brain hasnt caught up to his athleticism. Patience within is the key to a successful Oden. I think hell be capable of playing the entirety of the season, if his minutes, production, and overall conditioning are in harmony.

Who knows, but if he gets 41 and he's 100% when the playoffs start it's all good as far as I'm concerned. Before he got hurt he was already making us tough to beat just locking down the paint with blocks, rebounds and put backs. When he gets his offense going he's going to have a bigger impact on this league than Durant. Maybe not with scoring, with with his total game for sure.

obviously, oden has to show up and stay healthy, and im sure he knows that, hes a smart guy. And im sure he's more frustrated than anyone of us fan's are about his injuries. So i say, lets see how this year works out, and hope no one gets hurt this year. And im not scared of miami.

I want Oden to stay healthy.  He's a beast.  I think he should have limited PT and should not start to begin the season, and let his body adjust.  Once he seems ready...... increase PT just a little.  After a while, give Oden minutes like it was before 12-5-09.
i will never forget that date.  the day most people gave up on him.  but I will always believe.

No comment, I root for Greg Oden the human being.
Sam bowie was a great player with problems out of his control with his health/body, and Oden so far has been the same great person and good player with health problems, hating on either of these people or thinking Oden is doomed is entirely the wrong way to go. We need Oden to succeed for many reasons, and not entirely for his own gain. At this point I see us as fans losing either way to be honest, but it all comes down to how much we will lose. If Oden turns out to be a bust (I don't believe he is...yet) then we will have sealed the deal on creating a stigma we as fans hold against drafting big men, and will just make the odds even more steeped against the next we (if ever) try to draft. Something that could cause a gm to second guess his decisions even more, because any big man drafted by the blazers after Oden's projected (by the haters) failure will be undoubtedly a GM killer if he doesn't do well.
A lesser evil but still a downside to this all will be if Oden does (at least) and suits up for 60+ games this next season, what do we do as he's on a contract year. Does Oden have a monster year, and turn his back on the blazer's who have been as patient as their hearts have allowed them to be, and ask for max money or close to max money, there could always be teams that could use a big man, and while Kahn holds a spot as GM there will always be GM's out there that will overpay for talent.
I say the answer to all our problems is to just try to forget about Oden, and allow him to come out and see his shadow first before we predict how the winter's going to look, and in the mean time we just crank up the expectations and hopes and dreams on the one player we believe can be a superstar. I hope Roy heard the whole league calling him out, saying he's not what it takes to be a superstar in this league. The rest of the league now doubts, because they are fickle, and judge Roy's performance coming back to the playoffs after rehabilitating quickly yet still out of shape.

Brandon is a competitor. I'm pretty sure that he's heard things through the grapevine that he's not superstar material. He'll come out next season, and the whole league will talk about our guy being one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.

First need is a centre. And no one will take ten and 13 for 4th or 5th. After like the 10th pick the talent off is huge.

@Meese, it is quite ironic. They also just so happen to have the planets best player in Lebron James who leads them in rebounding with just over 8 a game.

Yes, let''s become completely sh*t, because the 2023 draft class in the best since 2003. This kid LeKobe Gasoldridge is the best ever. He is 8"9 with a 35" wingspan. He grew up in 5 century greece with the spartans so we know he''s tough. I heard ...
