What we now Know about LeBron

    Well, we know he belongs in New Jersey with all the other eccentric personalities. He and The Situation would get along great. I can just see LBJ going guido. With that said we know that Jared Dudley says he's for sure going to New York. We know that OchoCinco is implying LeBron has an "Empire State of Mind," also implying New York. We also have several league sources saying he is going to Miami barring a last minute change of heart. So, what do we know? That people like to talk and would rather post partial stories in hopes of breaking the news first than actually providing any real news. The truth is, only LeBron knows where he's going and I bet he isn't setting up his own smoke screens to redirect attention. LeBron loves his attention. I'm with Van Gundy. To hell with James, I'll know when I know and I really don't care because even if he goes to Miami, all that team can afford is Wade, Bosh and James. Last time I checked it's a bad idea to have only three good players on a team of scrubs.

    This guy (LBJ) is pure ego, a prime time revelation-stupid! I don't care where LBJ ends up. He will never win a title because he is selfish and I hope he never wins one. LBJ you suck. I think i'm saying this because I think it is sick that he needs a prime time espn event to let the world know where he will FAIL next. "F" YOU BUDDY YOU, SMELL LIKE NUTS.

    Exactly my point. The team will only be able to afford scrubs to round out their starting 5 and the rest of their bench if James goes there. They are better off signing three non-max players than giving LeBron his 17 million/year.

    You've got to remember that if he goes to Miami, that's the deadliest Big 3 ever. For this year, yes, their bench will be weak, but they have the draft to add more players, the bi-annual exception, and the mid-level exception to start rounding out the roster next offseason. All of these guys are in their mid-20's, so if they don't get the ring this year, they'll be on the cusp of it for the foreseeable future.

    It will be difficult to maintain. The salary cap is what it is, and although they have the exceptions players get older and will want bigger contracts in their FA years and go to other teams. They will be great in two-three year spurts barring injuries. I still think that having three true Max players limits your ability to round out your top 5 and limits your bench depth. LA hasn't had 3 true max players in all their championships so they have been able to afford a slightly deeper bench. Same with Boston. This is the most potent big 3 in the league, but they all typically have never had to play off the ball. It will still be potent, but defenses will figure them out pretty quickly and it doesn't allow for the long season and playoff runs. Maybe they will just eliminate training camp in South Beach that way they can spend all season getting in shape and then be fresh for the playoffs every year.

    He needs to just start his own reality tv show with his mom the cougar, so the rest of the country can enjoy basketball again ......

    He needs to sign a "Magic"-like 25/$25 contract for whatever team he picks so we're not doing this again in 5 years.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
