With the first SL game only 5 short days away and the rosters already been anounced, what are you looking forward to most?

Is it the fact they'll be televised on Comcast Sports Net? Do you just really love basketball and are in jonesin' for it? Or do you want to see what we have in regards to our new rookies?

Personally, it's all of the above for me. I'm probably most excited about watching Luke Babbitt though as he is the rookie I feel can come in right away and get some rotation minutes behind Batum. I want to see if he'll be able to get his shot off at this level and how fluid his jump shot looks.

With Williams not playing, I have to agree with Babbitt.  Always look forward to seeing Dante play too.

I want to see Jeff dominate the glass. With it being a guards league, a lot of shots should be put up and JP needs to show me he's worked on his rebounding since the end of the season. Right now Dante has a good sized lead on him for backup 4 minutes and summer league will be one of the many settings where these two will duel it out for playing time.

Some updates from the first day of practice

    Via pdxtrailblazers-

Coach McMillan talking to Patty, Dante and Jeff as a group. Those 3 taking a leadership role during summer league

Black unit: Patty, Armon, Babbitt, Dante, @TheRealJP31. White: Jimmy Baron, Osiris Eldridge, Ekene Ibekwe, Reyshawn Terry, Mike Fey

Patty Mills looking slimmer than we've ever seen him in Portland. Been a year since he broke his foot.

Maybe there's some new Aussie weight loss craze, cause Luke Schenscher looks a lot slimmer than he did during his stint 2 years ago

Thanks for the video link. I come away with a feeling of cautious optimism in regards to Patty Mills and Pendergraph. I want them to do really well and earn their spots in the future of the Blazers, but I also know there is a good chance they could end up as trade bait for outside teams and Summer League is going to be an opportunity for them to really raise their value. I would expect to wait for any deals to get completed until Mid-Summer League.

    42 game $1,000,000 deal.

well mccollum looks cool but lillard was a rarity when it comes to small school ballers being successful I don''t see 2 small school ballers 2 drafts in a row especially one comeing from a weak draft being anything spectacular
