    From the Boston Herald-

League sources said yesterday that the Celts have expressed trade interest in guards Leandro Barbosa of Phoenix and Rudy Fernandez of Portland.

    (…)

But Fernandez may be even more intriguing. He’s a 6-foot-6 shooter ill-suited to the Trail Blazers’ halfcourt approach. The 25-year-old Spaniard also spoke of being homesick last season when he averaged 8.1 points and 2.0 assists in 23.2 minutes.

Outside of Rondo or Big Baby Davis, they really have no one I'd be interested in unless it was a future draft pick 5 years down the road when they are really old and washed up. What do you think?

I don't see any trade value for us, on the celtics roster, that they will part with atleast

I feel the same way, not that I value Rudy that much right now, but there just isn't anyone there I want to trade for unless they could work a sign and trade with Ray Allen being the main return for Portland. They do need size, so maybe a Rudy and Joel for Allen. Otherwise, I'm not interested in what they have to offer.

Ya Tony Allen is the only one where contracts might be close and would be of any value to us. Tony allen would more or less just be a defensive upgrade from webster (and even batum for now) when guarding the bigger 2's and 3's that push batum or roy around.T. Allen looked great in the playoffs against lebron and even pretty good against kobe. But this is probably Ainge trying to send Marquis daniels or Sheldon williams to us for a guy who doesn't want to be in portland.

I would love to have glen davis coming off the bench behind aldridge if he could keep his weight down.

some reports have said that the celtics are using sheed for trade bait since he might retire and in the same article maybe trade him to the blazers. whoever wrote this obviously didnt know that that could never ever happen cuz sheeds history here haha

I am not 100 percent blazer's front office would be against bringing back sheed for a year or two to end his career in the city he professes to love and wants to live in at least after he retires. Everyone has been comparing L.A. to sheed's game for some time, minus a few things L.A. lacks, so why not bring sheed in to teach those few things and make L.A. better, while at the same time possibly solving our problem at the 4 with someone who could bang or spread out the floor in the half court game. Also this is the loudest way blazer's could let it become a national theme of how much free agent's should and eventually do love Portland.

I don't think we should get rid of Rudy Just yet...I know he's a crappy defender, but I noticed that every time he comes into the game, the blazers score...not just that but..he brings a different kind of energy to the line-up...ever since he got thrown to the ground by Trevor Ariza a while back...he's been kinda scared to go to the basket...but he'll get over that...I just don't want to see him go somewhere else and become a problem...

Did you not see what he did in the playoffs? He gripes about wanting minutes, and he got it. He didn't do SH!T with it.

After thinking about it, Big Baby would be the player I'd demand in return for Rudy if there werea ny legs to this rumor, but with Sheed retiring and Perkins out until December, the C's are just too short in the big men department and will need to hang onto him.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

You trolling Cmeese? I mean I hate how biased it is. If a woman slaps a man, people will probably be like what did that b*stard do, probably cheated on her, that pig. But if a man slaps a woman, even if it is completely justified, OMG abuse, 2013 ...

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
