Worked out a three-way deal involving the Spurs, Hornets, and Blazers.  The numbers work.  Let me know what you all think.

NO: sends West and Okafor to SA
SA: sends Parker and McDyess to NO
NO: sends Paul to Portland for Batum, and the expiring contracts of Miller and Prizbilla
    PORT: sends Bayless to SA

NO gets a BIG name PG to replace Paul and sheds Okafor
SA gets younger and a hometown product (good for JBay too) and can further feature George Hill...Parker and Pop rumored to be having issues

    Still pushing for Randy Pfund.

Very creative trade, but I don't think Parker is who the Hornets want. It would put them in the same position now with two excellent point guards (TP/Collison)

Parker has an expiring contract and would likely be trade bait mid-season.

Just a small tweak to this equation, you could add Mills with Bayless to San Antonio.
The Spurs have a very close eye on Patty especially considering Brett Brown, (Spurs Assistant Coach), is the Head Coach of the Australian National team.  Brett Brown has had a long association with the Australian domestic basketball competition - the NBL and has a good feel of the talent running around.  If Patty continues to put up good numbers for Australia, Coach Brown might put a word in Pop's ear.  Mills is young and the Spurs don't have such a log jam at the pg. position.  Just a thought.

Oh yeah Patty Mills is sooo much better than Jerryd Bayless. He's so good he can shoot threes from out of bounds. So that's why he tried in game to catch the ball near IN the opposing bench to show how much better he is.

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
