    From The Twitterz-

WojYahooNBA Christmas morning in Spurs front office with Richard Jefferson opting out of $15 million. Incredible.
Man, what is this guy thinking? There is speculation he won't even make $15 million over the duration of his career. The Spurs must be thrilled with this news!

maybe the money isn't as important as the constant scrutiny about being over-paid for another season, after all it's not like he's hard up for money at the moment. Now if only Eddy Curry's fat *** would take notes.

maybe Jefferson's agent already has a "verbal" aggrement with a club. There is no way he leaves 15 mill on the table with the season he had last year. This happens all the time in sports. It's only cheating if you get caught!

I smell smoke...and where there is smoke, ......
Just speculating here, but maybe money is less important to him at this point in his career, than having a shot at a ring.  Clearly SA is in a rebuild mode and will be far from a contender for some time now.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Freeland''s salary is 2.9. I meant to fact check that.

I would LOVE to see Oden on this team!!!

    BUT

Remember when Jammal Crawford said that Brandon Roy was full healthy again??

    also, imagine

    Damian, Roy, Batum, Lamarcus, Oden

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
