    From RealGM-

Robert Sarver is so far uninterested in agreeing to a sign-and-trade involving Amare Stoudemire.

The Orlando Magic, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs could be possibilities in sign-and-trade scenarios for Stoudemire.

“They would have to really love the players coming back in a sign-and-trade,” one source familiar with Sarver’s thinking told Yahoo! Sports. “Their plan has been [using] a big trade exception or particular players that make much less.

How would everyone welcome STAT to PDX? Would he be a better option than Bosh? It definitely would give Portland that 2nd star to play along side Roy with and his mid-range game would allow him to play along side Oden.

Means Aldridge would get traded. They get about the same stats, but A'mare is more of a beast than Aldridge is. However, you do still get the same productions in rebounding and a dip in defense. Also, you are taking a gamble really because Steve Nash really has a way of inflating peoples stats in a good way. Overall, I wouldn't want it if it's a one/one trade.

Bringing Stoudemire here WOULD give us that dynamic duo everyone has been looking for.  He and G.O. would be teaming up and hitting the local strip clubs, wedging "C-notes" in places money wasn't intended to go.  I guess that's "giving back to the community" right?  So much for culture and everything this orgainization has worked so hard for and achieved in the last 5 years...out the window with one deal.

From a basketball perspective, I don't like it either.  I agree with Bert, adding that with swapping L.A. for Stoudemire you not only lose a little defensively while gaining some much needed post offense, but you mess with the chemistry.  If you're going to mess with chemistry, it had better be for ALOT MORE on paper...not a "wash" situation

Besides he wants a max contract. I think Aldridge is overpayed what more with A'mare with a max.

Let's not trade away the only big man we have who has not been plagued with injuries for someone who's already had major knee surgery.

No kidding! I love quotes like that. Do you really need someone "familiar with Sarver's thinking" to tell you the Suns would like to get something back if they're already going to lose Amare? If so, a source familiar with Casey Holdahl's thinking told blazers.com that he would like 100 BILLION DOLLARS AND UNLIMITED SPICY THAI PEANUT HOT WINGS.

But in regards to Amare, I'm officially skeptical of guys who have had the the luck of playing with Steve Nash. Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw being exhibits A and B. We all saw Channing in New York, Portland and in Phoenix. Did his game suddenly improve because of the desert air? Me thinks it has more to do with the best Canadian basketball player of all time.

I basically assume you get a lesser version of Amare without Nash.

pardon my language but amare has and always will be a punk ass b****h in my eyes. Watching him dance around and talking smack because he had a dunk, big whoop. LA has had some sick dunks and i dont see him dancing around like a dumbass. So even though im sure it wont happen, im going to cross my fingers just in case.

Just to point out, we have a player who sort of does that. Except it's when he hits a jumper, makes a layup or gets fouled. Jerryd Bayless.

Very true. And to be honest, THAT is why I like Bayless so much. I think every great team needs someone like that on their team. I love the emotion, passion, and swagger he plays with. It is part of the reason why he always elevates his game when the stakes have risen.

Back to Amare though. With Bosh being rumored to be heading to Miami in a sign and trade, this opens the door up for Amare to go just about anywhere. I had thought Amare was a lock to go to South Beach, but if Bosh does indeed go there instead, where Amare lands now becomes a crapshoot.

    Here it is real simple.

Damian you are a public figure now, therefore, you have zero privacy. The kid took your photo while walking outside, he didn''t scope you out in the men''s room, not a big deal. Lastly, your name...

Okay, I''ll admit it, I like Asik better. I definitely think they will both have very good careers. And finally, someone who agrees, that Ibaka is a  shot blocker, not really a great defender.

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
