Patty Mills played at International level again for Australia last night against Argentina.  In his 20 minutes on court he scored 13 points and served up a handful of assists.  In a game that was mostly about fine tuning the national team for the world championship in Turkey, Mills was too fast for the Argentinian guards and showed great poise handling the point guard position; a fact that is no surprise to anyone unless you are in charge of the Trailblazers.  With 2 more game against Argentina within the week, lets see how the little General goes.  I think he knows that he has to showcase his ability to lead a team, in this case at International level, to either re secure a spot at the Blazers or possibly at another NBA team.  Just don't forget about me man.

First Off we have Brandon Roy second Patty mill has played less than Greg Oden, Patty Mills is taking up roster space and cap space as well. The bast thing we can do is try to put him in some kind of a trade with Ruy and a draft pick. I am shue Patty Mills could do well on a team like the nets or may even the NY, but patty Mills hast to go if we want to get a free agent.

Patty is a project player in the nba in a position we need immedate nba-ready skills, and while cap space has little to do at this point (second round pick so he was only signed for the league-set 1 year rookie contract) other than other teams could try to throw money at him to pull him away as he's an UFA. I hope after free agency and trades are done there is a spot for him, but i haven't heard the blazers are going to try to retain him...

I am less than thrilled with this years episode of pg merri-go-round, and the winner rides the bench.  Pay to get them, then pay someone to take them ? Not my toy ;)
I will watch summer league, but no one will convince me there is a back up pg better thank Blake for this team.
With the disclaimer, that going after a new starting pg is a whole other subject.

Blake is becoming a huge need for most teams even with him somewhat falling off the radar in L.A. at the end of last year. There's no way it would economically make sense for us to try and keep up with the money major market teams are going to be trying to throw at steve blake this offseason, when miami (where he played some H.S. ball) Orlando and Lakers are supposedly eyeing him. It is smarter to get a young pg prospect with a (hopeful) non-guaranteed contract to free up cap room for july. The fact no problem was addressed in the draft dealing with our bigs should tell most what kind of talent we are looking at in the chaos to come in the next couple between now and july 8th on signing day. I love Blakey though, i heard he was known to throw chairs at half time when the team was playing poorly or turning the ball over a lot.

Nice Idea but I think the TWolves trade is very lobsided in our favor

Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

Hawes was playing nice this season and would be a good pick up imo ...

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
