    Per 95.5 TheGame-

It seems as if the Trail Blazers are rumored to be working on a buyout of Ryan Gomes' contractand it doesn't appear he'll be used in a trade. Take it for what its worth.

    More from OregonLive:

Team president Larry Miller said the Blazers will probably release newly acquired forward Ryan Gomes in order to avoid taking on the remaining three seasons of his contract.

The team has until Tuesday to make a decision, but Miller said he has already told Gomes' agent not to fly him to Portland.

Gomes was acquired from Minnesota during Thursday's draft for the draft rights to the 16th overall pick, Luke Babbitt, and Blazers forward Martell Webster.

A little fuzzy on the buyout terms...I saw $1 million all the way up to $2.75 million, either way I think buying Gomes out saves us money in the long run. Rookie contact > Webster contract.

I guess Batum would be a good fit since Ilysavoa plays 4 more than the 3, which I didnt know lol

I think this would be a really good deal for Bucks then. They can draft Dieng with the 10 and maybe Franklin with their pick.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
