"Greg Oden and Lamarcus Aldridge are rumored to be going to the Raptors in a sign and trade for Chris Bosch, can't be finalized until after July 1st, but someone close to Oden says pretty close to done deal, he has already made calls to Toronto players to inquire about neighborhoods to live in."

Lol, anyone hear of this or think there could be any possible truth behind it?

If this happens, the Raptors should include Jose Manuel Calderon and/or Andrea Bargnani.

There seems to be alot of that going around!  I was watching a replay of "Courtside" last night after the draft to get a different perspective on the picks and Web trade and saw Nic Batum say the same thing about Tony Parker!  He said that Parker had just talked to him and had asked what it was like to live here in Portland.  Hmmm.  Could be multiple smokescreens being purposely thrown up in an attempt to protect what is ACTUALLY being planned.  Seems like we're giving up way too much in the sign and trade for Bosh that you mentioned.  Common knowledge that a title push is dependant on Greg and his successful return to the court.  Personally, I feel that Bosh's best days are behind him...or at least close to.  He's LA with a few more boards per game.

This had best not be true. All of these trades are spitting in the face of the hard work put in by our once and beloved former GM, K.P. I think getting rid of either of out bigs, is a BIG mistake. I would much rather allow LA to continue to grow into the Power Forward I think he can be, and let's hold off on giving up on Oden just yet. Give him a chance to have a complete and healthy season under his belt. The kid may surprise us. I am not sure what these guys at " The Vulcan mothership" are thinking but they are messing with a good thing... Keep what you have in house... It will pay off... Or let me put it into terms Mr. Allen can understand, "Allow your team to live long and prosper...."

i agree Blazer daddy. I think if oden gave stay healthy he might suprise us and dont forget he's still very young. And i know i might sound crazy but im not a big bosh fan, good player and all, but yeah, just not a big fan. Id like to see the blazers pick up a guy like JJ reddick, he was on fire in the playoffs .

now until the trade deadline is the last chance to use oden as a bargaining chip, as we have to decide next off-season how much we throw at this player when his contract is up, and bosch is going to be the premier 4 for the next 5 seasons at least, so not a horrible trade option assuming there would be more thrown our way. That would solidify Nic Batum as our third offensive option, and bosch as our solid second option, something both of them are meant for. Put Bosch under a defensive coach like mcmillan and see some real championship potential.

Bosh for L.A and Oden seems a bit unlikely and not sure that is a great deal for us.   I'd think there would need to be another player involved from Toronto.  Either way, it's rough talking about giving up either of these guys.  L.A. didn't have a great season, but he seemed to do his part and stay healthy.  It's becoming a bit cliche, but he just really needs to improve that low-post game of his.  And I think we need to risk a little more with Oden and see more of what he did at the beginning of the 09-10 season.

I think this would be just what the Blazers need, I would be sorry to see Greg go but we have Markes Cambie know. Know all we need is a Player like a Tony Parked in the back court with B-Roy and to stay healthy to

Where did you hear this rumor? I frequent a lot of websites and have not heard of this one. One of the two players for Bosh is fair value, but both? Nah, I'll pack up my ball and go home. Also, Bosh is going to play with LeBron, most likely in Chicago.

This will never happen!!!! Chris  is a good player, better than LA and I would like to have him, but I agree with DHawes, two for one is not of equal value.

That's pretty much how I feel as well. I've read every twitter post, message board rumors, and haven't heard this one yet, making it very unlikely to happen. I want Aldridge gone for an upgrade more than anyone else, but I refuse to throw in Oden AND Aldridge for Bosh. Bosh is better than Aldridge, but he seems like a little bit of a prima donna.

Bosh is a better player but Aldridge is younger and plays good D-fence, He can also block shots to.

I really wouldn't expect anything you hear in terms of these trade rumors to be more than smoke screens. Every thing I have heard Larry Miller say in interviews leans toward them not really exploring these things seriously until after they hire a GM and then they will let the GM work their magic. I wouldn't doubt that it was offered by Toronto, and I'm sure Oden's agent would love to try and push it, but I would hope Blazers management has a better basketball IQ than to allow this trade to go through as described. Again, there would have to be much more involved, even another team involved that would need to sweeten the pot much more for Portalnd to give up that much.

they call them rumors because they are just that. you'll find all kinds of blind speculation on every website, but 99.9999999999 percent of the time, there is no fact about it; it's just what someone would like to see happen. this is one of those. there is no factual merit in this rumor.
