    From O-Live-

A familiar face appeared at the Trail Blazers practice facility Tuesday, in addition to the six NBA predraft workout attendantsTrail Blazers forward Nic Batum. Batum is in Portland for two weeks working with Blazers' trainer Jay Jensen rehabbing his right shoulder.

Batum, who's set to play for the French national team later this summer in the FIBA World Championships in Turkey, said he's feeling no pain in his shoulder.

good to hear one of our brightest young talents is healing up nicely. I hope he can add another weapon to his game to use this season.

Probably the best news we have heard all off-season. Also, I have heard Roy and Oden are working out at the practice facility as well. Just get healthy guys! I also can't wait to see what a new offensive coaching philosophy will do for Batum. He has so much more potential than to just be delegated to stand in the corner and shoot 3's. his mid-range jumper is much improved as well as his handle.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

Batum is a great fit for their system and is young. Plus a lottery pick and potentially 2 other first rounders would give them a ton of flexibility.

If they say no we move on but at least offering the deal publicly will...

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
