    what about boozer? john salmons, david lee, dirk? could we get any of these players, stay under cap, and not give up core players?

    LeBron wants to play in a big market which we are not. The only way to get him would be a sign and trade, meaning he'd have to be interested in US to go ahead and tell his agent to orchestrate the S&T. Just like Bosh, it's not going to happen. For whatever reason, Portland isn't a huge free agent destination even though the players eventually fall in love with the city.

    I'm not sure why LeBron wouldn't want to be a part of the Blazers though. We'd have more talent left over after the S&T than any team in the league and he'd get to face Kobe and the Lakers 4 times a year. But oh well, its not to be and we'll have to win through the draft and getting our core players healthy.

    Hoping Paul has a rebound, and injury-free next season. CP3, Deron Williams, and Brandon Roy top 3 players I enjoy watching the most.

    I would much rather root against James, than have to INVENT A REASON (besides the jersey on his back) to root for him HERE.  Besides, having to explain to my 12 year old why HE should now root for the guy, if a  Blazer, would NOT be easy...enough said
