Heat To Make A Run At Oden?

    Per RealGM-
     

    In a question and answer blog post, Ira Winderman suggests the Heat may be interested in acquiring Greg Oden from the Blazers.

    "I do think there is an outside chance the Heat makes a run at Greg Oden, or at least sees what the asking price would be," writes Winderman.

    Winderman has covered the Heat for 22 years.

    My question is make a run using what ammo? Wade is a UFA and NO ONE else on their team has the value of Greg.

    yeah...no. Unless of course they sign Bosh and trade him to us...that would be nice lol...but no.

    Kind of funny though, because the 2 separate seasons I played on 2k10 Heat acquired Oden from the Blazers.

    Agreed. Not a lot of pieces on that team I would want for Oden, they do have two ex-Blazers on their team already are they trying to put together a Blazer alumni team?

    Oh, got to love RealGM. Michael Beasley is not a good enough centerpiece to warrant a trade for Oden. This article smells of too many hours on the ESPN Trade Machine.

    Th only person worth anything on that team is Wade and Jones, and they aren't getting rid of Wade and Jones is not worth Oden.

    I miss James Jones. I loved that little clip of Mike Jones (rapper) laughing "Ha, ha, ha" after every made 3 James hit!

    The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

    Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.
