So does anyone other than me believe that the refs do decide the outcome of a game?
And possibly the series with the Perkins technical fouls last night?   Unbelievable !!

I didn't see them, but heard they were outlandish. Is there any video of it?

I've been inclined at times this season to agree that the refs do decide the games. A couple of times against us I've felt it, and also watching other games.
The first tech Perkins got was, I think, a precaution on the refs' part, warning the guys that they weren't going to tolerate dirty playing. Gortat definitely deserved his since he instigated the exchange. Clearly, from watching the replay, Perkins didn't mean to elbow him. His hand slipped on a slippery, sweaty Paul Pierce. The second one was a joke and I'm glad they went back and recinded it. If guys are going to get T'd up every time they show emotion when they disagree with a call, then we might as well replace them with robots. But that being said, we don't know exactly what Perkins said to make the ref feel he deserved the T, but I still feel it's a good call to recind it.
That T on Rondo was kinda dumb too....

I'm sure the video will replayed on sportscenter all day today.  I'm glad the nba recinded it, but it still makes me wonder.....

I saw both and they were both laughable at best. They were very reminiscent of Sheed's starring technical he got in Game 1 of the 2000 WCF against LA. Why do referees have such big egos? If they would just quit trying to be the star of the show and call a decent game, the game would be in much better shape.

I am still rolling my change, waiting for the day the nba allows fans to throw it at bad calls like in Europe :)

There's been some shady calls, poor officiating, ...and Joe DeRosa this post-season. Its one step up from those replacement refs we had during the pre-season.

This past season the biggest problem was that we had 5 players that did the majority of the scoring for this team and the bench didn''t produce or defend at all.   This coming season the Blazers are going to need production from both the first...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.

You know what is good about the draft you can usually move up and down if your willing. We could have gotten Drummond and everyone here knows it. We also could have taken Harkless, or Henson at 11 or moved back a few spots. We also could have draf...
