Wall or Turner: Who Should Be Picked #1 In The 2010 Draft?

    Who would you take with the 1st pick?
    John Wall (3)
     60%
    Evan Turner (2)
     40%
    If you were GM of the Wizards, who would you take with the 1st pick?  The great, young point guard John Wall or the more polished shooting guard, Evan Turner?
    They already have Gilbert Arenas, but with his troubled past do you pass on Wall for him?

    John Wall:
    16.6 points, 6.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 0.5 blocks, .461 field goal percentage, .325 3 point percentage, .754 free throw percentage, 1.4 assists/turnover ratio, 4.0 turnovers














    Evan Turner:
    20.4 points, 6.0 assists, 9.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 0.9 blocks, .519 field goal percentage, .364 3 point percentage, .758 free throw percentage, 1.36 assists/turnover ratio, 4.4 turnovers

    Go with Wall. He has the higher upside and Arenas, at this point in his career, is not someone you change your draft direction over. I think Turner will be great too, but Wall is Best Player Available. He could turn out to be a Payton/Rondo hybrid.

    Wall will average 20 points a game for the Wiz next year. And they can dump Shooter McGee now.

    Turner. I love versatile players who can play multiple positions effectively. Not only is Turner a shooting guard, but he can run point as well. Something about Wall rubs me the wrong way. He didn't perform nearly as well in the Tourney than Derrick Rose. While I don't question his athleticism or defense, can he score the ball at the next level? Turner to me has the whole package and if he can stay healthy has a chance to be a better Brandon Roy..let that marinate a while.

    Yes. Batum is definitely overrated by Blazer fans because we love him, and he is overpaid right now, but he will play better next year.

    Can he do anything else? Can he actually play his position? Handling the ball is well and good, but he firsts needs to be able to play his position. Rebound, and play D. Until he can do that, don''t take him. This is why I think Nerlens Noel won''...

    But I feel like worse teams than us would offer that so you never know he might want to come back where it all started... then again he could hate us with a passion and want to go absolutely anywhere else
