Who will win the Eastern Conference Finals?
    Boston (5)
     56%
    Orlando (4)
     44%
Apologies for this coming AFTER Game 1, but as we saw with the Blazers series, it doesn't necessarily mean the winner of Game 1 wins the series. In fact, this may even be a better poll after the C's winning Game 1. I suspect a lot of people would have picked Orlando without hesitation as they had swept their way out of the first  two rounds and now are finally facing adversity for the first time in over a month. How will they react? Can Boston continue this sensational team play they have been riding since the playoffs opened up. Myself, I am stunned and amazed at the same time. This is the same Boston team who was getting booed off of their home court on nightly basis' to teams like Memphis, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City, not exactly Western powers. Who will represent the East in the NBA Finals?

Going with the Celtics here. They should do what they did against Cleveland and win one of the first two games, then hold serve on their home court. They have the bigs to play Howard straight up, not leaving the Orlando shooters open. Or if Dwight gets going a bit, they could throw the kitchen sink at him, much as they did to LeBron and force the role players to beat them. Ray Allen is shooting to well, KG is playing like its 2001, Pierce does what he does, and Rondo is quickly turning into a top 3 point guard in the league. Just too many weapons for Dwight to overcome himself.

Even after losing Game 1, I still went with Orlando. They'll find a way to win back home court and take it in 7. It's only a matter of time before Dwight starts to get into his rhythm on Perkins, forcing Boston to double, leaving guys like Pietrus, Barnes, Anderson, Williams, Carter, Lewis, Nelson, and Reddick open to burry wide open 3's.

Celtics. This is not only because they've won the  first two on the road, but it looks like the L*akers are going to take the WCF (though we'll have to see if the Suns can get Game 3), so if that does happen, I think the Celtics and their D can give the L*kers a fight and hopefully repeat what they did in 2008. Plus, I love History (in any form), so it would be cool to have another BOS vs. LAL match-up, though I think this will probably be the last chance of that, as the Big 3 are probably on their last run; then again, people (Jalen Rose, Steve Smith and others) thought that it would be a repeat of last year's Finals, but I am hoping for a 2008 Finals repeat, the teams and result!

PS Yes, KG is a thug, but at least he's proven himself, unlike "Superman."

Glad its going to be Celtic's/Lakers..anything would be better than MAgic/Lakers. That series last year was as boring as it got. A complete mismatch. All I want to see is a good, competitive series. These playoffs have been dominated by one team and only 1 series has gone 7, and only 3 have gone 6 games so far.

Do or Die tonight for the Magic. They can't go down 0-3 and expect to come back and win it.

My heart says Magic because of Marcin Gortat "Polish Hammer" my countryman and superplayer but for best final I prefer Boston. Super Trio + Rondo  crash Cleveland and looks strong and they can really beat Lakers. !!! and I want this very much. :)

Looks like Orlando's season is about to come to an end. They are losing 51-34 at halftime and the worst sign of all is occurring...they are getting out-hustled. Can't say I wouldn't be intrigued by Celtics/Lakers :D

Man, you never want to pass up an opportunity to close the series out on your home court. The Boston Bruins in NHL gave up a 3-0 series lead, how ironic/comical would it be if their NBA team blew a 3-0 lead? You have to assume Orlando wins Game 5 on their home court, putting a lot of pressure back on Boston to win it at home during Game 6.

Orlando is going to take Game 5 tonight! Then it really becomes a series..all it takes is a couple things to go wrong and the momentum gets swung in the opposite direction.

I took Orlando from the start of the year to get out of the East. Though they won game 5 to force a game 6 can they do it again? That remains to be seen. Game 6 I think Magics are going to see the big green giant, they better read up on their Magic spells cuz they will need it.

Boston police and security should guard all bridges in the Boston-metro area (kidding of course :) ) if the Celtics blow this 3-0 lead much like the Boston Bruins did in the 2nd round of the NHL playoffs. What next, the Sox miss the playoffs and the Tom Brady gets injured again? Tough sports year for Boston if the Celtics can't close it out.

I'll be surprised if this is a 7 game series.

Celtics took care of business in what was their own Game 7. Of all people to spark them, Nate Robinson? I knew he was good at attacking the hoop, but man, those 3's he was dropping in transition were a little out of the scouting report.

I''m not talking about those kinda calls, but phantom calls. Kobe gets soooo many phantom calls. I like Lebron, but I know because he''s a superstar he gets certain actions overlooked. Kobe just gets random stuff called. Remember when Kobe smacked...

Oh, sorry Damian, you make so many I stopped reading them. I don''t because I don''t know much about salaries and stuff. Stephenson would be great, excellent rebounder, Tough Defender, is playing awesome in  today''s  game.

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

Damian, you are completely right on that, let''s just hope it''s not a negative impact (Shout out, Ray Ray). And since when did people WANT to come to Portland? This is great.
