Utah receives New Yorks pick, so pray they don't win it. Sacramento seems to have a nice core, so not sure I want to see Evans get much more talent around him. That's about it. I feel bad the Wolves have never moved up in the lottery and if they win, what are they going to do with another poing guard.

Being a Blazer fan has taught me to root for the underdog, so I went with the Wolves. They always seem to get shafted and have been terrible for a while now. They could definitely use Wall/Turner. Also, makes our division one of the best with bright futures.

Golden State for a couple of reasons. I'd love to keep all the talent out West, even if it does make for a tougher conference. Also, it'd be funny to see Nelson roll out a lineup of Randolph, Magette, Ellis, Curry, and Wall. Finally, maybe it makes Monta Ellis available and we could pounce on that. Talk about instant offense and if we could get him to come off the bench....watch out!

An eastern team that is playing horrible basketball at the moment. A.K.A. New Jersey. They wont be threatening us if they get the number one so they can have it.

Question becomes, does New Jersey trade Devin Harris if they get Wall or do they try to play them together? Would Portland be interested in Harris?

I like Harris ! With Millers age, and Bayless having a score first mentality, Harris could be just what the Blazers need at pg for the future.
It's what cost he would come at that I worry about.  I don't want major changes to the team, but imo, how to compensate for Rudys funk needs to be addressed on both ends of the floor.
My question about any pg the Blazers bring in though, is how would he fit with Brandon in the back court, and what does he bring that we dont already have in another player?   So again, my brain goes back to Blake, we know how Brandon played with him.....

I don't think Roy needs Blake to play well. Roy would excel with an 8th grader playing point guard next to him :) We've seen how far a Roy/Blake tandem can take us and it just wasn't far enough. I liked Harris last year, but his inability to lead that team to respectability, a decent array of players as well, is a red flag. Also, we have to factor in what the Nets would want for Harris. I'm not trading LMA or Batum for him, so I don't see anything getting done. I want to keep Andre around anyways. He is a player who doesn't rely on athleticism to get the job done, so I can see him playing productively well into his late 30's as we groom Bayless for more and more responsibilities. I like what JB brings to the table because he does have a scorer's mentality. We need that along side a distributor such as Roy who likes the rock in his hands a lot during the game.

Brandon being able to excel with anyone I mean ....

With Blake, the Blazers actually won 54 games.  I'm not adamant that Blake has to come back. I hear Koponen wants to come over too.  A decision at guard positions has to made, add that to Rudys funk, who knows what will happen.  With Blake you already know how he fits with the team, and in Nates system. To me, that means something.  It isnt disrespectful to Dre,  no one has to play 48 minutes every game.
Just like when Dre came , I was excited about having the option of using both of them ,because they bring different things to the table, and each team we play is different.

Blake and Roy wasn't the reasons for 54 games lol. the fact that all of our big guys didn't sit the whole season(like this season) is! With Andre and not our core big guys we still pulled 50...

I have to agree. With a backcourt of Roy/Dre and actually having healthy centers, we push the 60 win barrier. I'm really excited about next year if we can stay healthy. Also, I would like to see PetKo play in summer league and battle Patty for the 3rd point guard spot. He looks like he has game.

If Minnesota gets John Wall this summer, and Ricky Rubio next year, those T'Wolves are gonna take a bigger bite outta the win column in the NW Division.

That back court would get eaten alive defensively. I'm not a huge fan of Rubio (reminds me too much of Sergio, all flash, no jumper)and if I were Minny and won the lotto, I would take Wall and then try to trade Rubio and parts for Evan Turner.

Just pray Utah doesn't win, because they are a shooting guard away from being elite. The Jazz + Evan Turner is a perennial threat to win it all every single season.
