    Travis Diener: Stay Or Go?
    Stay (0)
    Go (9)

    Travis Diener
    Position: PG
    2009-10 salary: $208,802
Contract status: After being waived by the Pacers, the fifth-year player out of Marquette signed with the Blazers on March 3 to occupy their 15th roster spot after the Marcus Camby trade. Diener becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1.

2009-10: Totaled three points and four assists in 26 minutes during five games with Portland ... Made his Trail Blazers debut March 12 at Sacramento ... Appeared in four games for Indiana, recording three points, two rebounds, four assists and 25 minutes ... Underwent surgery to repair an injury to his left big toe on Nov. 20.

More or less a practice player, do the Blazers resign the unrestricted free agent or go for another big body for the 15th roster spot?

Obviously Diener is not a heavy rotation player, but his shooting is always there for emergency purposes and was well liked in the locker room. Every team needs a full 15 players, some Chiefs and some Indians, meaning everyone needs to know their roles and I thought he did so. The question becomes, do we keep him as the 14-15th man on the roster or maybe look for a bigger player for insurance purposes after what we saw happen last year?

Love ya Trav but definitely go. It's obvious he was signed to simply fill a roster spot and then be let go. The kid only played five games with 3 pts and 4 bout we let him go and bring back a different Trav.... :) Travis Outlaw!

hes not gonna get anywhere with the blazers, sorry bro thats just the way it has to be. So i say we let him go so that he can get a chance at more playing time somewhere else.

I agree. Thanks for the memories TD, but I'd rather re-sign Patty or draft a young bigman in the 2nd round to take his spot, someone with a low-risk, high-reward. Unfortunately, Diener is tapped out of potential.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
