I think he played pretty well considering his matchup in this series, and the fact that he was considered the goto guy on offence so he drew a constant double team. Before you join that facebook group, check this out...

    Regular Season: FG% - .495, REB./GAME - 8, BLOCKS/GAME - .6, T.O. - 1.3, PPG 17.9
    Playoffs:            FG% - .430, REB./GAME - 6, BLOCKS/GAME - 1.8, T.O. - 1.8. PPG 19

Even matched up with Amare and having to carry the offensive load because of injuries, he was still right in there. Not a great series for Lamarcus, but I'm ok with it. There were some other players who played way below their season averages.

I wish everyone who is so brave on the computer, would say the same to his face.

The truth is, LA and Amare cancelled each other out. Jason Richardson torched us. Let's take a look at who was supposed to be defending him........

"Suck" is pretty harsh considering it was LMA who carried us into the post-season minus Roy. He's only a man, he's not perfect, neither is Roy, or Camby , or Miller or anybody else on the team.

Did LaMarcus suck in the playoffs? In one word,, "No".
What occurred though was he was called upon to be the team's #1 option, and that simply isn't his comfort zone. He plays better as the 2nd or 3rd fiddle, making other teams pay for doubling Brandon, as we saw in Game 4. He did a fine job canceling out Amare as Kim noted, but he's not at that level where he can carry a team, but that's not really a knock on him, because guys like Gasol (w/ Memphis) an Bosh aren't there either. LMA is a great Robin to Roy's Batman and its always been that way. It was just unfortunate to not have a 100% healthy Brandon. Also, let's not lose sight of the big picture with Oden Roy and LMA. Each player compliments the other to a tee. When Oden is going, LA is going to be able to work, not worrying about double teams coming his way.But if Aldridge does want to take the next step in his game, he'll need to work on his dribble game out of the triple threat position, like Amare uses so well.

parsons will stay in houston... and i guess you wouldnt be able to get all those just for vet mins...

I think there are easier and more realistic ways to improve our team.

I would trade our 10th pick + 2nd rounders + rights to Papapi...

Greg wants a fresh start. Portland wants a fresh start. And thank you, Siccolo, for comparing this to B Roy. Any draft prospect is going to be pretty impressed with what GO can do on the court... even a 75% GO. A kid that has no idea what NBA game...

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
