Tip-off is about an hour away and I can't wait! I'm both nervous and excited about tonight's game. I don't think the boys want to go out on their home court with a loss, so we'll see a hungry Blazers team fight their way to a close victory.

Your are right! This team doesn't want a loss at home, we will fight until the final whistle blows. Hopefully the refs call a good game tonight unlike last game at Suns. This is it, Tip off is in 40 Minutes!
I am a fan of Brandon Roy realizing he can still do what he always has been able to! GO BLAZERS!

Forgive me, last time I watched a game, the starting lineup was Drexler, Porter, Kersey and Duckworth, but...Portland is sure small. They don't have a big man in the middle? We could be KILLING Phoenix by feeding the middle but I don't see any big men. Looks like a team full of guards!

My god, does Phoenix miss ANY 3's? You would think the odds would be with us, but they don't miss at all.

This is going to get out of control quick. Portland doesn't seem to trust each other, their not playing like a team.

I've been gone for awhile...yea like, 13 years, but who is the coach? The guy is emotionless. He needs to fire the team up, get em motivated, excited to play. He's a frikking statue. No wonder Portland is getting owned.

I will take Rick Adelman over this guy any day of the week. No discipline, no fire, no motivation...good young team, no center, no apparent leader. No one's taking charge. No big man, who is drafting? We don't have a 6'9" 300lb big man?

If we had a Kevin Duckworth or Arvydas Sabonis we could just feed the ball in the middle and punish Phoenix. We are lacking a big man.

It's half time and I believe the Suns have left something on the floor. It's up the the Blazers to pick it up. We have got to attack the bascket and get to the freethrow line; Once there...focus. We have to match the three We need get second chance shots and lots of rebounds. Most of all the Blazers need to Believe!!

Portland...where's the teamwork? Where's the passing? They are doomed if they don't start depending on each other. It looks like street ball out there.

So even though it does not matter now, What is up with the Phoenix coach getting all touchy-feely with the ref?

The real sad thing is that Phoenix is going to go into San Antonio and get blown out in three games.

Oh well, next year is our year.
OK BLAZER FANS, THE YEAR IS OVER BUT THE DREAM IS STILL ALIVE...... WE WILL NOT LET THE TEAM DROP THIER HEADS ON THIS ONE. WE JUST COULD NOT BATTLE ALL THE THINGS AGAINTS US... WE MADE OUR NAME FOR OURSELVES THOUGH. WE HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. TAKE HEART PORTLAND. WE WERE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKS FOR A GREAT YEAR BLAZERS!!!

I wish we had come out with more urgency this game, we just didn't play like we wanted it.

I think the NBA better look into the whole Alvin Gentry butt slapping thing.  Way out of line.

There had better be a second look at that situation. Not only out of line, but I was slightly uncomfortable about that.

They fought even tho the odds were against them.they fought thru rough calls.Just like all season, someone stepped up to make it a game.In the end they didn't have enough left in the tank. But as i have all season,I applaud this team for even making it to the playoffs, winning without BRoy,and playing a gallant final game tonight and just generally being warriors despite  it all.Thank you,Blazers, for all the excitement .Thank you for showing all of us how to deal with adversity.it was a ride ,that's for sure.A ride I'll be glad to take that ride again next year.

All I have to say is I am one PROUD BLAZER FAN! This season we defied all odds, and the team and the management made sure we got to the playoff party FOR the fans! A nice reward for all I would think...and now our boyz have more experience and game smarts for next season. We got a great center pick up with Camby, and Oden is on the mend and a man named Miller showed us why he was the glue all season. So many good things to look forward to.

BTW...it has been a pleasure meeting all you fans this year and meeting in chat and sharing discussion here.

So, until next season...CHEERS TO YOU ALL!!! :-)

    peace out,

Congrats to PHX, they were the better team and always had an answer for us with a dagger three. We played tough but with everyone seemingly hurt, it was only a matter of time before it caught up to us. Props to Rudy, Marty, and Jerryd for outstanding play tonight!

Just because the season's over doesn't mean the discussion stops Daddy! I mean, we've got the draft, free agency, summer league, trade rumors, training camp, and everything in between. In my opinion, the fun's just begun!

Congrats to PHX for winning the first round.  Congrats to the Blazers for making it as far as we did, its more than alot of teams can say.  Im excited for next year and hopefully we have endured enough injuries this year to cover next year as well.  No matter what though, i love my Blazers and its been a fun season.

Oh... Ive been wondering... whats up with Juwan next year?  Anybody know?

The Blazers are the worst team that made the playoffs! Bobcats were a close second. Nate McMillan is ignorant! Did you hear some of his in game pep talks? "Slow down guys!" huh? How do you slow down anymore when you dribble for 20+ seconds because your scared to shoot? In an elimination game at home you shoot 38% against one of the worst defenses in the league.

If you didn't really pay attention in that 4th quarter, let me take you back to when it was 76-76 with 8:00 to play, and Phoenix had already committed 4 team fouls to Portland's 0 fouls. You would think, oh, if I were Portland, I can just tell my guards to drive to the hoop and foul out Phoenix's best players, while shooting all the free throws I want. Not Portland. They proceed to drain the clock, take 11 of their next 12 shots from 3 or deep 2, draw only 2 Suns fouls with B. Roy on the floor, and shoot a total of 4 FTs! 99-90! What a joke! Last time I checked Phoenix didn't have Shaq or Robin Lopez to block shots anymore, so you might want to make "driving to the paint" one of your philosophies next game! Oh wait, there won't be a next game for you if you don't count bass fishing in the lake, with the Mavs, Bulls, Bobcats, and Heat!

Great coaching, Nate! How does this idiot keep his job? Oh and starting your franchise player w/ a bum knee that could damage his future with the team, Genius!  =D

Not many more class act, or respected coaches around the league in many people's opinion. Did we really think we'd win 50 or make the playoffs when Oden went down? Not to mention Joel 17 days later. I can't wait for next season to tip off, and hope to see improvement from everyone.. Great job from the team and the true fans this year! And thanks to everyone involved in this website! It gets us(the fans), even closer to the team on a day to day basis! WE'LL BE BACK !:)

Thanks to a classy team for an inspiring season! What a year! You are a model of how to deal with adversity - you never stopped believing or working hard. You provided your fans with thrills and chills and too many poignant moments to count. Kevin, Nate and all of the coaching staff should be given the league's "power of positive thinking award" for caring, trusting,  and motivating this amazing team. Thanks to the true Trail Blazers fans who rode the emotional roller coaster of the season by increasing their love and admiration for this remarkable team and, who, with tears streaming down their faces, gave them a standing ovation after the loss of Game 6. The only negativity this season came from the group in Seattle (the Vulcans) whose ignorance of the solidarity of the team and its fans led them to attempt a mid-year coup. Paul Allen, I hope you learn from this team's example and, in the future, leave your ego outside the Rose Garden door.
