    Roy Back In Starting 5

Bayless helped get the team off to a great start in Game 5 and has been one of the top 3 players this playoff series, but Roy is the franchise. What does everyone think? Does Roy need to start in order to get his mojo back or would you prefer to keep slowly bringing him along off of the bench?

Although I think Jerryd has done enough to keep his starting job, starting doesn't make him tick, minutes do, and as long as Bayless continues to play, starting or not, he'll contribute. Brandon, on the other hand, I think needs to get into a rhythm early and often if he's going to contribute to a Blazer win. This will be his 3rd game back and the ovation he'll get from the fans during introductions will be amazing! Anything extra to get the crowd riled up is all right in my book.

I would keep him off the bench for one more game at least. He still doesn't look all that smooth out there and Bayless has been a huge catalyst for the good starts in Games 4&5. But at this point, after 3 blowout losses, I can't really knock the decision by Nate to try and change things up. Its survival time right now.

It's do or die time. I voted yes. If they're still trying to limit Brandon's minutes then they can bring Bayless in earlier for Brandon and still accomplish that. Having Bayless be one of the first guys off the bench is more appealing than other guard options...(Brandon excluded of course)

    I plead the 5th.

I defended him for as long as I could. He just looks like he doesn't care out there.

Im glad Brandon is starting tomorrow, he wants and deserves to.  Bayless obviously WANTS the minutes more than Rudy.  It looks like Rudy is bored or scared out there.... Pretty sure he is just completely disconnected all together..... Although, he is not making himself look good period.  I mean, 0/1 last game in 15 minutes, really?!  Cmon Rudy, you're a SHOOTER!!!!  What happened??

Go Blazers...Where will Rudy be playing next year?  It's obvious he does not want to be in Portland...

Bayless has one good game and everyone thinks he is good. He is not a very solid player.  We lost our huge first quarter lead in game 5 because Miller and Camby left the game.  Bayless was out there trying to run the show, and clearly, the results weren't good.

Bayless has been pretty consistant in the playoffs and his stats are better than they were in the reg season.  I think we all have hopes of him maturing and not being so wild and careless with the ball, which he has been showing. Also, he has been less selfish with the ball as well and actually getting 4+ apg. He clearly needs work though and is showing actual effort compared to *cough cough* Rudy *cough*... Please note, I have been a Rudy fan for a long time and it saddens me to actually cringe when I see him going out on the court.  On that note......

GO BLAZERS!!!!  Lets take this to game 7!

HONESTLY I DON'T REALLY CARE WHO STARTS. JUST AS LONG AS THE TEAM PLAYS HARD AND DOES WORK AND GETS THE WIN. A WIN IS A WIN NO MATTER WHO PLAYS FOR RIP CITY. WE HAVE GONE THROUGH A LOT THIS SEASON AND EVERY WIN MATTERS.

    DO WORK BLAZERS!!!

Bayless is averaging like 13.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds a night. He's been probably one of the top 3 most consistent Blazers this playoff series which is remarkable considering this is really his only first real playoffs since he didn't play hardly at all last year. Bayless just needs time. Once we finally trade Rudy, it'll open up a 3 guard rotation of Miller/Roy/Bayless, giving JB enough time to get into a rhythm and do work!

I voted yes for Roy to start but I agree with CASH BALLA 3, I really don't care who starts for us. I do feel that when Roy is able to get into his groove early, he has better games and Bayless does a great job off the bench. I think that for Bayless, he sits and watches the game start and it just gets him pumped up more. By the time Nate puts him in, he is ready to explode. With him starting, the build up is not there for him. I think it is a good move. I just want to see a Blazer "W" tonight!!!!!

I hate to say it but Brandon cost the Blazers game 6. Clearly he wasn't anything near 100%. When he was in the game and had the ball everyone just stood around. When Bayless and comp. were in and Roy was out we looked good, the offense looked sharper, the whole team looked sharp. Forget about bashing LA, Mac. should get the ultimate bash for letting Brandon Roy call the shots. It made me wonder WHO'S RUNNING THIS TEAM? It sure isn't coach Mac! Oh well, 1 and out again, same old stuff, different day. All in all it was still a nice season when you consider all the injuries.

    Thank you Portland,

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
