    Brooks has not accomplished anything Nate hasn't already done in previous seasons.
    Nate will always be coach of the year to me.
    I am a fan of scrapping !

    Nate was robbed this year and last year. Last year Nate took a team who the year prior did not make the playoffs but helped make them 4th seed, co-division champs and still didn't win COTY.  However this year same case scenario except Scott Brooks didn't have his team win the division title or have home court advantage. What is it going to take the blazers to have a coach with COTY? A perfect season? People who didn't vote for Nate should just slap themselves.

    Byron Scott won coach of the year, then got canned. I'm glad he didn't get that dumb thing, I want Nate to stick around for a long time.

    New Orleans organization in general should be canned. They haven't done anything to really make their roster better. Their problem has been for 3 years now is their bench production, and they've done nothing to improve it.

    I think most of us knew he wasen't going to win that award. COY is all about the team that your not expecting, and they have a good season. Same reason Jerry Sloan never wins COY, and he's in the HOF how has he not won that award? cause the Jazz play just good enough every year. We know Nate did a amazing job keeping this group focused all season long, don't need a shiny trophy to that, said it all in the record.

    Oh well, the best coaches never win this award and the ones who do, usually end up fired or overrated. Seems like all voters care about is performance from one year to another. No one notices how Nate usually improves a little bit each year. We'll see just how good a coach he is next year when they can no longer sneak up on opposing teams.

    BR said it best..if Jerry Sloan has never won the award then it doesn't mean crap to begin with in the first place. Enjoy your ceiling Thunder..you have a great player who can't finish in the clutch.

    I have my disagreements with Nate's philosophies, but anything is better than Mo Cheeks. Hey I hear Obama's brother in law is an 'awesome' coach...HAHAHA!
