Latest Roy Injury News Update *Out For Final 2 Regular Season Games*

    Roy Scheduled For MRI

     Roy injured his knee in the first quarter of Sunday's game at the Lakers while playing defense against Ron Artest. Roy said he tried to front Artest, and in the process of trying to establish position, Artest stepped on Roy's right foot. At the same time, Roy's momentum kept him going right, and with his foot planted by Artest's foot, his knee felt what Roy called a  "sharp" pain.
    I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but when I hear the words "buckle" "sharp" and "doesn't feel right" all coupled with the face he needs an MRI..my heart sinks to the pit of my stomach. From the sounds of it, I highly doubt we play with Roy tomorrow. Personally, this doesn't sound good. It didn't look like he did anything to it, but man if he does miss the playoffs, that win today was our "playoffs". Savor it. Relish it. It may be the last positive until the Fall. Again, I hope I'm overreacting, but with this franchise's history with knees, I'm not holding my breath.

    Lets hope its nothing too serious, if he needs to rest the last two games so be it. Hope he remembers the last time he tried to go when his hammy wasent healed all the way.

    MRI revealed a bone bruise, out tomorrow, but best possible news.

    Further evaluation shows a slight tear of the meniscus, keeping Roy out for the final two regular season games and is listed as day-to-day for the playoffs

    I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.

    Howard is great but his back injury and shoulder issues this year were troubling.
